Carrying out a drug test, though may be necessary to determine the mental state of aspirants, its constitutionality is another kettle of fish entirely. First and foremost, it is obviously discriminatory as it is targeted at a particular group of persons in the society. If such a test is to be carried out, it must cut across board and not to be seen as an instrument of witch hunt of targeted individuals.
