Presidential aspirant of the African Action Congress party (AAC) for the forthcoming 2023 Nigerian presidential election, Omoyele Sowore, commences his journey to the 2023 election with a rally in Akure today.

The Ondo State-born politician who hails from Kiribo town shared the poster for the rally through his social media handle.

Sowore is an Ijaw man.
Igbekebo means let there be wood.
Kiribo means let there be land.

Igbekebo is his LGA headquarters.

Kiribo is his hometown.

..but they don't speak Ijaw in kiribo, they speak Yoruba. I'm from the same area, specifically igbobini. We are 'Apoi', we are partly ijaw and Yoruba. The full blooded ijaws are the arogbos, but that's not where sowore comes from.

The other Apoi clan is in Bayelsa.
