Osinbajo what are you saying gosh, instead of you to go and meet Mr President discuss this issue with him you're here begging minsters, those people you're begging are not the problem of ASUU the problem of ASUU today is you and Mr President. Stop this kind of politics you're playing, now you want Nigerians to start blaming those minsters. 3 Likes |

hopexter:He is a WEAKLING! And such characters make bad leaders. Some years ago, i was acting as Manager of a firm, i was not afraid to talk to my Boss on certain Industrial issues! Yet Osibanjo, a Professor is afraid of Buhari/Northern cabal. The Man is a coward and wants to use 'Cunny cunny' to win 2023 elections! He will fail woefully. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Only way to solve this issue....RAISE FEES. Because as far as we know, government cannot adequately fund universities. Even if we take the proceeds of corruption, it still won't be enough. But ASUU and the FG are dancing around this issue, because most Nigerians are poor, and they don't want to appear as the bad guy. On the other hand, our universities still need money, and even the poverty of most Nigerians is not going to change that. Either fees go up, or taxes, or we go and beg for another loan. Or we end fuel subsides, and use the N4 trillion naira for universities this year. 1 Like |

Zeeku: Osibanjo nor Buhari can do nothing. The solution is that universities need extra trillions of naira in funding, and government cannot find that money. If GEJ, whom his supporters claim was the best thing since sliced bread, could only find N200 billion extra per annum for 5 years, and only paid for one year, and that was down from the N3 trillion promised in 2009....where do you expect Buhari to find money? With oil prices low until 2 months ago(most of the money has gone for subsides on fuel anyway)...and with tax to gdp ratio lower than most African countries.... |

Osunbajo and you want to bw president?!! Habaa is it to beg or to find a way to meet them midway if not 80%. Have they been paid part of their demands? Has UTAS been given a chance to be operated as they requested. Mr VP it seems you have not learned much to move Nigeria forward in 2023 or you learnt well from PMB. Billions of naira are being paid to indivuduals and companies and even the dead refineries yet you dont want to pay ASUU? Is it begging justice or right? Mr VP please let fresh people contest for presidency 2023. 3 Likes |

TheRareGem1:Calling on the group who is also in disagreement with the government due to government's abysmal handling of their agreement to negotiate on ite behalf is a joke of the century. NLC and TUC both have their unsettled grievances with the government, yet you are calling on them to intervene. Star boy, that's insensitive if you ask me. Do the needful! 2 Likes |

Osunbande is just a fancy talker. He talks brilliantly but emptily. He often gives the impression of an outsider in a government where he is supposedly the number two in hierarchy. On whose authority did he embark on this shameful begging parade? Was he begging without Buhari's permission and concent or he was doing so just to display his usual characteristic "I'm better than my Boss but my hands are tied"? If Nigerians make the mistake of electing this man, they should be prepared for more Queen's English without visible and tangible achievements for another 4 or 8 years. 3 Likes |

Pk01:Very funny conclusion Wike will sake VC and Appoint new one ?? ASUU is more rigid that any organization in Nigeria . You can sack Doctors and appoint new one buh you can't do that with professorial post... I mean if you sake professor and appoint Lecturer 1. Lecturer one can't teach MSC, PHD student all joined . The oneness of ASUU make them special. You can't be a professor in Nigeria without at least spend up to 15-20years.. The solution to ASUU issue is very complicated in Nigeria.. considering the attitude of government and economic nature of Nigeria. 2 Likes |

victorDanladi:Let's be realistic . Does VP as the power to summon ASUU , Ministry of Labour, Education and Finance. Then order office of the accountant general to pay ASUU 1bn +. No Denying Osibanjo is part of APC government buh we should have in mind that this problem doesn't start with APC and is not gonna end with APC , cuz no government can pay all the ASUU money at once . FG and ASUU Need to reach a workable agreement about that 2009 agreement. |
