mercyitodo: What is the requirement to receive ptv sports in Nigeria?
at the edge of coverage zone gives 350cm/3.5m...that means you needs at least 5meter prime focus dish for ptv sports on 38east! in Nigeria....

Why are some people found of asking annoying questions, can't you use internet to help your self, why are people so lazy to explore info on their own, please we need to kick start our common sense, put yourself to work.

start by tracking with 4055H27500 which is d strongest tp on that bird.lock ur lnb(c-band) at 11 o'clock w/out d di-electric plate inside. When you hit green, tweak d signal to about 80%. Now input irib tp and include d di-electric plate into d lnb. For offset as urs, you can buy a conical scaler ring and attach to ur lnb throat for best result, or u can construct one. Goodluck and happy hunting!

What is the type of LNB used by banks and organisations for transmitting data, is it KU or C band LNB, or is there a special LNB that they used.
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by blexxonmak(m): 6:01am On Aug 25, 2014
@mercyitodo/Arelukman.Believe it or not I tracked Paksat 1R @38"E with 300cm (mesh) dish in Enugu Nigeria.
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by blexxonmak(m): 6:14am On Aug 25, 2014
So I believe testing with 1.8m pan dish(and above) is not out of place.

Ku, C-band and Ka-Band. ka and ku are the smaller dishes like 0.8-1.2m with small BUC where the lnb is attached. C-band are those big dish like 2m and above with big BUC. you can also use ku on big dish

Do you think we are lazy if yes how do we get out of being lazy.also don't forget to drop the tp and dish size.
Going throughout the whole thread this is what you see and you ask yourself the same questions over and over again some still call you around mid night to tell you my signal strength is dropping.its a funny thread with funny people.Nothing to learn just read and laugh things off.
