Ex- Gov Saraki Still Lives In Govt House by Babasessy(m): 11:46am On Jul 18, 2011 |
Why Saraki still lives in govt house –Kwara WOLE ADEDEJI The Kwara State Government, at the weekend, reacted to the continued stay of exgovernor Bukola Saraki in the Government House, two months after he had left office, saying “he is guest of the state.” The former governor, who is now a Senator, refused moving to his family house after his tenure in office, choosing to squat in the Presidential Lodge, in the Government House at the expense of the state government. National Mirror had reported this unusual observation last week, highlighting the circumstances leading to the Senator’s inability to move into his father’s house along Iloffa Road, GRA, Ilorin. Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba in a statement said, “what we are doing for a former governor, a serving Senator and the leader of PDP is not out of the ordinary. For the avoidance of doubt, the former governor is not a resident of the Presidential Lodge of the Kwara Government House, but a guest. Oba, who tagged the statement as “CPS reaction to ACN press statement today Sunday July 17, 2011,” added that “Governor Bukola Saraki as a man who has positively changed governance in the state for the best interests of the masses and also a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic, representing Kwara Central, who also represents the collective interests of Kwarans.” The ACN had reacted to National Mirror’s story which, the party commended, saying the governor’s stay in the Government House was an aberration, which confirms continued running of the state even after leaving office. The statement signed by ACN Chairman, Mr. Kayode Olawepo said, “More than two months after he left office, Governor Bukola Saraki has continued to live in the Presidential Lodge wing of the Kwara Government House. http://nationalmirroronline.net/news/16546.html |

An Educated person, well schooled, Medical Doctor as well still behaving like a bush man, all in the name of chopping life, and not knowing his right from his left, After milking the state, he still wants to sit down there with the new milker and chop more, na wah oooo Do we really have no level of shame or simply decadence had eroded us of reasoning logically a nation, if a bush man did this, we wont hear the last, Just hear his Spokesman justifying this act, with no iota of shame , "For the avoidance of doubt, the former governor is not a resident of the Presidential Lodge of the Kwara Government House, but a guest." BUKOLA, if this is true, bury your head in shame, |

So, does that mean that during his tenure as a governor, he never thought it wise to build his own house, how long will he squat there before moving out, ? oga, ooo i just see it wrong, for him to still remain there when there is a new governor. |
