I think Atiku was right. They have no idea 80 percentage of Northern population live in villages. And more than half of the rural population can not read and write in English but they can in Arabic. So people shouldn't misconstrue this as illiteracy. Most rural population are well versed in Arabic literacy. But not well tune to modern life style. And Northern politicians always like and take advantage of their ignorance of Nigerian reality.
