I am a Muslim Yoruba man and I will never support or vote Asiwaju Tinubu, the reason is glaring, the man in his capacity is promoting thuggery, hooliganism and also involved himself in some dirty deals in the past and such a character will further compound the problems of Nigerians rather than proffering solutions to it. Forget the issues of Muslim- Muslim or Christian- Christian, I have no interest in whatsoever religion the aspirant practice, I am praying to God to bless us with individual who will make things to work in this country and ensure things work perfectly not someone who encourage thuggery

It's hard to understand what makes Atiku Abubakar believe that a Fulani Muslim, Atiku, can succeed another Fulani Muslim, Buhari, as president of contemporay Nigeria, and the rest of the country shallows the insult.
Federal Character principle got enshrined in the Constitution to also enable participation of Nigeria's groups in the county's political process, including apex political leadership position.

Atiku likes to offset the about 30 years military dictators from the north ruled Nigeria, he starts to count the history of political leadership of Nigeria beginning from 1999.

Just the same way Tinubu placed his personal interest above national interest by screaming 'Emi lokan' instead to support to micro zone it to south west. If he has considered Obasanjo 8 years as president and Osinbajo 8 years as vice president out of 24 years of civil rule from 1999.

He has a good point .Atiku is breaking a gentlemanly agreement to rotate power between north and south.A northerner is still president and has almost done 8 years already and Atiku from same north wants to take over from him. That’s a receipe for anarchy because the southerners will not agree
What about Tinubu? Is it the turn of the south west? Why is south west contesting after producing president and vice president while some regions hasn't produced the president?

There no difference between APC and PDP.

Do not vote for any of them.
Vote neither of them.
Do not vote for either of them.
Nor vote for PDP or APC.
Nor look PDP or APC to vote for.

Same as Tinumbu. I wonder how an invalid will want to rule us especially given our experience with Buhari. The same Tinumbu who foisted Buhari on us, imagine. It's just a game to him.

Very funny and senseless people allover APC. You are claiming that about Atiku but don’t have anything to say about EBola Yekini Amoda Ogunlere Tinubu who has openly stated that it is his lifetime ambition to be president.

Who openly challenged and fought Buhari and APC saying “Emi lokan” (it’s my turn)? Was it Atiku or Tinubu? Answer that first before talking gibberish.

But Tinubu agreed to fight against Jonathan a southerner in 2015 which brought buhari a fulani man to power

Y did Tinubu feel it was best to use his resources to sponsor a fulani man against Jonathan in 2015?

In this interview with LEKE BAIYEWU, the National Chairman of the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023, Senator Adedayo Adeyeye, says the attack by the Peoples Democratic Party on the All Progressives Congress over its Muslim-Muslim ticket is to divert the attention of Nigerians from the PDP’s breach of its power rotation policy

According to Senator Adedayo Adeleye, [what will decide who wins the next presidential election is the zone a candidate comes from].

Right. Three regions formed Nigeria in 1960 - SE, North and SW regions.
Considering this, the candidate, Peter Obi, from the eastern region, must be made to win for the interest of nationhood, peace and development in Nigeria.
OBJ represented the SW region between 1999-2007.

Late Umoru Yar'Adua represented the northern region between 2007-2010.
GEJ was VP and completed Yar'Adua's tenure. When GEJ wanted to obscure the zoning formula of the PDP in 2015, his administration was terminated by Atiku Abubakar pulling the rugs off Jonathan's feet, through Atiku pulling most of the northern PDP members to APC.
Right. A northerner, Buhari took over from GEJ. It's therefore, crystal clear that a southerner from the SE takes over from president Buhari.

So Southern interest applies when it is about SW? So SW is not breaking the gentlemanly agreement to have SE take a shot at the presidency after SW have had 8 years of presidency and soon complete another 8 years of VP. And SS has completed more than 8 years as both president and VP. Is this still one Nigeria or only when it favours you and your people? Is SE still part of Nigeria or not?

Atiku - not Tinubu should have it if Obi is cheated out - until certain people learn to play fair.

I always start by making my bias very clear,I will vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Back to the topic,I totally agree with Senator Adeyeye,Alhaji Atiku is a very selfish politican.
As much as we like to criticize Asiwaju, the man has made a lot of sacrifices for his lieutenants to climb the ladder of political success.
I always laugh at some of the reply of the Atiku's camp directed recently at Asiwaju, they just keep painting Atiku as a very selfish and desperate man.
The Atiku camp claimed Asiwaju wanted a Muslim-muslim ticket in 2007,but the man who laboured to build a party from scratch had to give way to another person,an ibo man called Ben Obi so Atiku could fulfill his presidential ambition.
Yet again in 2015,after Asiwaju had laboured again and he wanted to be the vice presidential nominee of the APC,the same argument was thrown at him and he humbly submitted and nominated Prof Osinbajo to the post.
ASIWAJU is a man who understands what it means to give up his ambition for the greater good of the country, unlike the treacherous character called Atiku.
The man will never give up his ambition even it means allowing for unity and Integration of other ethnic tribes.
I'm still waiting for whatever Superior argument his aides have for why their principal who is a very selfish and treacherous human being, will rather allow a Fulani man to rule Nigeria continuously for 16 yrs non stop at the detriment of the other 100 southern ethnic nationalities that make up Nigeria.
God bless Nigeria.

Pls if Tinubu is such a good choice and southern presidency is your priority, how come Tinubu invested his resources in ensuring that buhari a fulani man became president at the expense of Jonathan, a southernern?

According to you:

"ASIWAJU is a man who understands what it means to give up his ambition for the greater good of the country".

How's that possible? Kindly explain? Can Tinubu fight corruption? Can he allow the interests of Nigerians to take the place of his interest and that of his cronies?
Re: Adedayo Adeyeye: Atiku Placing Personal Ambition Above National Interest by Donwis05: 4:08pm On Jul 25, 2022
So Atiku did wrong for wining the PDP ticket being a northerner but Tinubu did the right thing for picking a Muslim as his running mate?
Yet you said every politician must do things in the interest of the country?

Mtchwwww, these yoruba Muslims have really sold their conscience to the devil

SmartPolician:
On the issue of zoning in Nigerian politics, it has become an unwritten agreement among Nigeria’s political leaders; that power should rotate between the North and the South. The reason for this is very simple — we are in a multi-ethnic and multi-religious society with over 250 ethnic groups, and the administrative division of the country since the amalgamation of 1914 has been between the North and the South.

Nobody should be talking about zoning at this time because Nigerians, especially those from the north and South West, have no regards for justice, fairness and equity.

Everyone should focus on the forthcoming election; Tinubu should personally tell Nigerians what he plans by doing an hour-long interview like Atiku did.

In some peoples mind, power should rotate between the North and SW. South is only for their convenience sake.

Obasanjo 8years Ya’adua 2years + Goodluck 6years normally what should be the outcome? S.W 8years, N.W 2years +, S.S 6years normally it should be what?

The superior argument you wait for is that Bola Tinubu refused to agree to microzoning the APC presidential ticket to any of the qualified presidential materials from the East who formed APC with Tinubu and Buhari from the beginning.
The north cashed on Tinubu's refusal and started to present Atiku as north's presidential candidate.
All things being equal, Tinubu and Obi shall divide the votes of the south and middle belt for Atiku to win the presidential election, if Tinubu refuses to step down for younger, least corrupt, healthier and more accepted Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
