Personally, I think Shettima can still withdraw for Lalong to become the Vice President just to solve the whole brouhaha going on because people wouldn't keep quiet still and it will keep going on and on despite the fact that we all know it was a difficult decision for Tinubu. One thing Tinubu would have to promise Shettima is that Borno and Yobe would be in his plans.

Aren't the same Muslims in the North being the one hypocritical about the Muslim Muslim ticket in their Backstabbing selfish bid to justify their support for the Fulani Atiku? Especially the NW. If Tinubu picked Lalong, This would shut them up.

It's not too late tbh. Lalong and Shettima are already close.. Lalong would be like the bridge. Like I said, Tinubu would only have to ensure that Borno and Yobe are in his plans.

The southwest gave bulk vote for Awolowo, Abiola for example. The only time they split was Obasanjo and that was because because of Falae who was also popular.

Even Jonathan and Buhari, it was mostly bulk vote. It was only in Buhari second term that they didn't because of how he performed in the first term and despite, a lot still voted for him.

Anyway, I'm not just talking about the vote but economically, strategic position etc..

Because Buhari didn't perform very well in his first term. No one can blame them. The SW have no problem with Tinubu considering his achievement antecedent in Lagos'. The only thing is Muslim Muslim ticket but it's better than killer herdsmen which Atiku champion.

Fayose in Ekiti wasn't in APC na. Were you expecting Buhari to win there, especially considering Fayose.

First term was when the economy started to dwindle so fast hence you shouldn't expect them to be eager to vote for Buhari for second term. However, SW people attributed it to low oil revenue hence majority still voted for Buhari for the second term regardless. However, Second term had high oil boom yet economy was still rubbish, as well as high level of insecurity.

Muslim Muslim ticket is still better than killer herdsmen ticket.

The ingrate who forgot it was Tinubu a Muslim that recommended him as SSG to Buhari even tho he is a Northern Christian.

If you notice well, Bishop Kukah is so soft on Tinubu and that is because deep in their heart, the Christian leaders in the North knows that Tinubu is not a religious bigot and their interest can be protected in him more than any candidate.
