Let obi continue his eye service, tinubu is not interested in that non sense. You don't need you to campaign for him. You are a nobody and your service is not needed. We have way too many people who are campaigning for him.

Physical agility is 87% of your presidential resume ..tinubu don't have it

For now I don't know who is pushing that man ..

Punch the lazy media, are those the only highlight of the manifesto?

There are lot of highlights from that policy document. Some of them are:

—The policy document gives student the right to borrow from TetFund to pay school fees and they pay back in installment when employed.

—NSCDC will now be handling VIP security and the police will focus on the usual securing of the populace.

—He will introduce Forest Security Force which will be a section that will man the forest in Nigeria to gather intelligence and act on it.

—Anti-Terrorist Battalions (ABATTS) will be created and they will be drawn from special squad with strategic and tactical abilities to go after terrorism and bandits.

—Merge housing agencies into a single vibrant one and they have three main core functionalities:
-Grant low interest rate mortgage.
-Guarantee qualified mortgages through bank.
-purchase mortgages from private banks.

—We are moving away from budget projection based on dollar value of oil revenue. The fiscal methodology will base the budgeting on projected level of government spending which optimizes growth and jobs without causing unacceptable level of inflation.

—He Introduced commodity boards for farmers which establishes minimum prices for cashew, cocoa, okra, palm, cassava, and etc. which will guarantee them that their proceeds will be fully bought. This will be done in conjunction with the private sector.

—Establish a FG funding for local government to construct storage facilities in major marketplaces of major cities/town to minimize waste and better preserve perishable food items.

—Establish special Enforcement and monitoring unit with mandate to protect the pipelines by deploying technological interventions of stationary aerial monitoring platforms. This will support the goal of increasing oil production to 2.6mmbpd by 2027.

For those wetin for manifestos and debates...

Someone with good oratory skills will always shine at debates..

Anyone can write manifestos for anyone...if you have the money...it's in the news one of the aspirants was accused of paying only for 2019 when he used the manifesto written for him..and he is yet to pay for 2023 for the same manifesto to be used.. grin cheesy grin

Then, how do we know who can actually perform...that's where past antecedents, while in Government can help us determine who the cap fits.

How they govern...how they have utilise scarce resources, money and people at their disposal.

God bless Nigeria.

Hmm, I'm still looking for that worthy candidate

—The policy document gives student the right to borrow from TetFund to pay school fees and they pay back in installment when employed.

— Establish new management system for federally funded primary & Secondary schools. This will be managed by boards of education and the membership will include members of the local communities who will have decision making powers. This board will oversee management of all government school within a given locality.

—Establish through new legislation a special education fund consisting of zero coupon bonds. The bonds will be sold in tranches to private investors or purchased in market clearing exercise by CBN. This will find universities while reducing the per capita tuition cost to students.

—NSCDC will now be handling VIP security and the police will focus on the usual securing of the populace.

This is more like it!

These look S.M.A.R.T!

However, I am highly interested in the process, and timeline of achieving these!

Buhari made promises as grand as these, but where are we today?!!

Tinubu needs to write a clear blueprint and make the vision realistic to even the dumbest of citizens!

I like what you posted... I will screenshot and further study them. Thanks.

The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, on Thursday, released an 80-page policy document that highlights an eight-point agenda.

The PUNCH reports that top on his priority lists of action plans was national security, economy, agriculture, power, oil and gas, transportation and education.

In the manifesto exclusively obtained by The PUNCH on Friday, Tinubu said his objective is to foster a new society based on shared prosperity, tolerance, compassion, and the unwavering commitment to treating each citizen with equal respect and due regard.

Here are 10 promises of the former Lagos State governor contained in the manifesto.

1. Build a Nigeria, especially for our youth, where sufficient jobs with decent wages create a better life Generic, How?

2. [s]Manufacture, create, and invent more of the goods and services we require. Nigeria shall be known as a nation of creators, not just of consumers.[/s] Manufacture what? with no stable Electricity? what do you intend to produce? Too generic

3. [s]Export more and import less, strengthening both the naira and our way of life.[/s] Export what? Agricultural produce or what?

4. Continue assisting our ever-toiling farmers, through enlightened agricultural policy that promotes productivity and assures decent incomes, so that farmers can support their families and feed the nation. Possible but Assisting through what measures?

5. Modernise and expand public infrastructure so that the rest of the economy can grow at an optimal rate. Possible but more accumulated debts through borrowing

6. [s]Embolden and support our young people and women by harnessing emerging sectors such as the digital economy, entertainment and culture, tourism and others to build the Nigeria of tomorrow, today.[/s] Avenue to siphon funds, if you know you know.

7. [s]Train and give economic opportunity to the poorest and most vulnerable among us. We seek a Nigeria where no parent is compelled to send a child to bed hungry, worried whether tomorrow shall bring food.[/s] LIE

8. Generate, transmit and distribute sufficient, affordable electricity to give our people the requisite power to enlighten their lives, their homes, and their very dreams. Possible if there is a will.

9. [s]Make basic healthcare, education, and housing accessible and affordable for all.[/s] For all? Blatant Lie

10. And, most importantly, establish a bold and assertive policy that will create a strong yet adaptive national security architecture and action to obliterate terror, kidnapping, banditry, and all other forms of violent extremism from the face of our nation. Possible but the security architecture needs total overhaul

From someone who wants to continue from where Buhari stops.
From a man who wants to employ youths and give them agbado, ewa, beans etc.
From a man who is ready to fight dirty and shed bloods.

Bro most of those things are not bogus promises, they are just restructuring current existing sectors to conform to Tinubu's goal.

Also, most of those things have been experimented in Lagos. He spoke about using bonds to fund tertiary educations, he spoke about trust fund, moving primary/secondary school to be in the hands of local communities and school boards by guaranteeing their funding, student loan from tetfunds, decongesting Apapa port through tax releifm credits, and relaxed duties.

These are basic things that sound reasonable and achievable.

He never mentioned bogus promises he will build all the roads in Nigeria in 3 years and etc or saying $1 = 1Naira.
