Lagos has come a long way since 1999.

From 400 million in 1999 to over 62billion monthly, that’s superb.

Now see the gap with which they exceed Federal allocation.

Only Lagos, Ogun, and Abuja generates more than they receive from the Federal allocation.
If you leave oil and gas producing areas with their cash, they will be doing better than these states

Forget, have u seen how Lagos money are spent? Have Lagos state disclose how the revenue generated are spent? There is poor road and all and the government is not doing much.

You are the dummy here.

If Lagos can generate 700billion+ in one year, then the state can afford to borrow 350bn in a budget year so far we can see what they are doing with it.

Even America with their trillion still dey borrow let alone small Lagos.

Anambra I guess do not even generate up to 120billion per year but Soludo already borrowed over 100billion within few months. But you guys are always fixated on Lagos.

So what are u doing with the 350 billion? building railway for 20 years?? undecided Even the igr we know its majorly from triple taxation policies. undecided

Testing incomplete railway and making a noise.

An individual through his company is pocketing 10% of all that in the name of collecting revenue on behalf of the state. Why will a state cede tax collection to a company in the first place? I'm pretty sure they have an internal revenue agency.

Why should you be the one "dashing" them their money?
Who are you to tell them when , how and the amount they have to get from their resources?
Zamfara is selling their fold and keeping the cash! Why are you not speaking up against that?
If they like they can be sharing their cash the same way Sanwo Olu is sharing Lagos budget with Tinupoo, you have no right to dictate for them.

I think you're the dummy here.

Lagos State budget of 2023 is more than the top 3 oil producing state combined, so how did you want them to found it if not borrowing?

Borrowing is not bad if they don't loot it and make use of it to benefit the state.

Some of you Nigerians are terribly wicked. The country you quoted has proper drainage. This guy simply told you many Nigerian cities lack proper drainages. If you plan well and nature overturns your planning then no problem. How about when you don't plan well?

I no blame una sha. You all love to be treated as subhuman in Nigeria! Enjoy it!!

120 billion is too much, in the last Igr statistics Anambra hardly generated 35 billion naira, and Soludo borrowed 100 billion naira. The next governor of Anambra will hardly be able to execute any project if Anambra don't improve their IGR.

Haha don’t mind me, I was even thinking off my head and rating Anambra high.

So you mean Anambra only generates 35billion in a year? It’s even 30billion self.

So Soludo went to borrow 100billion that the states can’t even make in 3years?

Mad o. I’ve updated my post with the right amount.

How can I go and ask them what they achieved when even the maddest person in Anambra is trying to except from that barren erosion region to live in Lagos?

Lagos speak for herself and the developmental stride is not alien to anyone.

Rather what I should ask you is how is Delta state faring from the huge FAAC that state keep getting monthly yet it can’t even be compared developmental wise to ordinary Kaduna.

You see I did not mention Anambla, because even a local government in Lagos is richer than the state so it will be stupid of me to compare.
