It serves us right.

We are still the ones dying over voting billionaire thieves.

The weaponization of poverty is the only strategy at hand for the current powers controlling Nigeria. Ever since that power got a foothold in Hausaland, the once prosperous Hausas whose ancient city drew merchants from far and wide plummeted and is today the poorest region in the whole world. The powers turned Hausa kids to 'almajiris' and thus poverty was industrialized in Hausaland and today, only her language remains relevant. The Hausa as a people have lost their civilization and pride. Even here in Nigeria, who still counts them in the scheme of things?

The once proud and productive Benue is gradually being turned to a huge IDP camp. Her rich vast agricultural lands that earned her the befitting name 'Food Basket Of The Nation's has been far underfarmed and left for the grazing of the flocks of her Invaders. The same evil powers that struck Hausaland have descended on the Benue to repeat what they did yonder. The weaponization of poverty has began on the Benue and only time will tell if or how successful they'll be. Ravaged farmlands and burnt down communities is purely a strategy at ensuring the people become weak and totally vulnerable. The same story is being witnessed across the whole of central Nigeria and even with occasional attempts in the Southern parts of Nigeria. This is the stock in trade of the same despoilers who have held Nigeria by the jugular killing, raping and kidnapping every targeted groups for plunder. Billions have been lost to them. Do you still wonder why poverty is geometrically increasing? Are you blind or deaf or even both? Can't you put one and two together to see where we are all headed if we do not resist all together? There's nothing good they can offer you because they don't have any to give.

Who accepts a gift of 2kg rice from the same person who consciously burnt down his grain reserve? Show me that man who appreciates the murderer of his child attending the funeral ceremony let me crown him the king of all fools. We must learn from history. Kingdoms and empire builders always have physical (infrastructural) legacies as a testament of their drive for advancement. This is never so for the current powers riding Nigeria. They've built nothing and have nothing tangible credited to their control of the lands precolonial times. It isn't their fault; they are just born to vandalize. They're the Vandals Of West Africa. This is the only thing their ancestors have been doing for the over 250 years ever since they ventured into the Nigerian territory. This is all they know how to do and they've mastered it. Weaponization of poverty is a conscious strategy for control. It is currently activated in the whole Nigeria. You will be their serfs while they eat the choicest of the land unless you arise today and fight together to reclaim your lands and dignity. Don't allow prejudice to stop you from fighting for your survival.

A stitch in time saves nine. The cost of cowardice is more expensive than the price for bravery.

Worse, many Nigerians are marching today to make APC that threw Nigerians into the poverty to continue.
The damage religious belief of some Nigerians can do in Nigeria is amazing.

MandelaLives:

From a projection of 95 million Buhari raised it to 133 million. Why not, when the animals keep preferring Barabas to Jesus.

Truly, any Nigerian wey no vote wisely next year, may they have poverty as their first name.
Three quarters of the 133 million poor may be found in Northern Nigeria where people march to vote the same political party of Buhari into power to continue due to their ethno-religious bigotry.
Often, one asks God why He placed these people with others in one Nigeria.

....'Multi Dimensionally Poor'.... hmmm.
Thanks to the APC for a new lexicon.
Well, when you are taking World Bank loans to buy stationary and office supplies hopefully not including toilet roll for the John... angry
And you intend to buy 20 million naira dogs to sniff crack... I guess even this new lingo will soon hit its sell-by date.
The world Bank can then consult Prof Ben Ayade to come up with some stronger anti-virus to describe Nigeria's misery.

The problem of Nigeria is CBN.
Change the value of Naira and not the face of Naira.

To think that this is the same administration that promised to pull 100milion Nigerians out of poverty in 2015, got reelected in 2019.
Fast forward into November 2022, 5 months into an election, buhari has really raised the poverty bar high, pushed more people into poverty.
Oh, what a waste of space and votes.
Nigerians were really scammed.

Anybody not thinking of voting for Mr. Peter Obi is endangering the future of Nigeria. APC and PDP are not options at all.

Like I told someone, if buhari had done fairly well in government, many people would not have looked for alternative. The same people that brought in buhari would be kicking him out soon.

The sad reality of allowing that incompetent Buhari and the evil political party called APC to rule us. In line waiting to increase the poverty level is the known narcotics dealer who is almost loosing his memory

headofschool:

The Northerners are not poor o, that's their lifestyle, those people have money but they just don't fancy things like modern house, school, clothes and all. They prefer to buy cows.

Measure poverty in the north by the number of cows they have not by access to school and the likes

So, why are they begging for food everywhere?
