Kingzeez10: It's December soon. Those that can pay transport fares will still happily go home for celebrations with family and friends; like they do every year. The fear is on kidnapping activities on the Nigerian highways enroute home, not being at home. But you guys are welcome to help us be afraid though. I mean, it's for free right? 1 Like |

Only a mumu will spend $4 billion and get $3 billion profit. Buhari knows his legacy is in bad shape and he’s trying hard to impress northerners. The truth is that the more you look about the oil abracadabra in the north, the less you see. God blessed the Delta region with natural resources like oil. Those who have taken what rightfully belong to them will be punished in the end because you can’t steal what belongs to others in the name of fake one Nigeria. N/b. I’m not from Delta area. I’m just trying to see the world through their eyes. 2 Likes |

Manofnaija: Over 7 years ago when I realised that the entire world was moving away from fossil fuels and entering the domain of electricity to run everything I was shocked that Nigeria was still looking for oil. Here we are in 2022 still searching for oil and allocating non existent funds to the venture. Do our leaders really know what is going in in the world? At least dangote is smart he knows that we can not possibly depend on electricity in this part of the world in the next 50 yrs so fuel remains our source of energy. It is well. |

Either of these is imminent, 1) North giving in for full restructuring 2) North breaking away to form an oil producing nation That is if more oil and gas discovery are made. Ensuring that oil exploration facilities are built for the north has been 1 of the objectives of Buhari, and he's finally achieved that. Don't be surprised if more crude oil is said to be discovered across many states in the north, you can't rule it out. |

Re: Buhari: Kolmani Oil Drill Has Attracted $3bn Investments by stanluiz(m): 5:01pm On Nov 22, 2022 |
Even though the oil discovery is good. But we shouldn't celebrate too much it. Oil is the reason why Nigeria is a consuming instead of producing economy. We depends too much on oil. It makes us lazy. The worst part is that we don't even control the oil price. Oil prices flutates. It goes up, it goes down. That why we need leaders that can think outside the box and diversify our economy. Even Saudi Arabia and Qatar that is one of the biggest oil producing countries are diversifying their economy from oil, how much more Nigeria. 5 Biggest economy in the world are not oil producing countries. Nigeria can do better. |
