Cross River State was yanked off the list of oil producing states, immediately their oil wells were adjudge to be in Akwa ibom State. These guys have been dying to make several states in the north to receive 13% derivation fund at all cost.

1) North giving in for full restructuring
2) North breaking away to form an oil producing nation
That is if more oil and gas discovery are made.
Ensuring that oil exploration facilities are built for the north has been 1 of the objectives of Buhari, and he's finally achieved that. Don't be surprised if more crude oil is said to be discovered across many states in the north, you can't rule it out.

Mind you the so called discovery if in Gombe and Bauchi. So in a restructuring scenario that includes states control of resources, other northern states will not benefit.

The only benefit in the current scenario or in a breakup.
