Brendaniel: Typical of the 'Abuja- focus mentality'. So Governors as elected leaders in their own capacity must necessarily follow the example of Mr. President? What a warck logic! FYI, there are few Governors who are delivering good governance in their state without recourse to Buhari. So if Buhari fails every governor must fail? Haba. The NBS report on multidimensional poverty level indicted the state as being highly responsible for the figure as they're more responsible to those affected. 11 Likes |

Forget it, give Nigeria the budget allocation of the entire EU + USA, the present set up will still make a mess of everything. How on earth do these guys sleep? 5 Likes |

fergie001:So you mean a president is powerless among governors? My own is that delta state recieved 110b and that foolish Tilije , commissioner of finance says it was 14.7b. At this point,Agba was 100% correct, even Buhari who is assumed and sold by the press a failure was right concerning our governors. 6 Likes |

So aketi collected this huge amount of money. I have always said it the major problem of Nigeria are the state governors they are evil, callous, self centered, vile and wicked. Nigeria has a long way to go and fighting corruption would be a huge task because it is too deep rooted. May God help us. |

Aufbauh: If Buhari was working, his actions would have exposed them, even as corrupt as OBJ was, he was able to expose a lot of governors in his time and even jailed some even his IG of police, that is corrupt OBJ o, now imagine someone who has more integrity than OBJ, what would he do, leadership by example, I am not blaming only the president but then you too should not only blame the governors... |

Past Governors must account also, especially Lucky Igbinedion, who was reported to have use the state's money to celebrate his father's birthday during Obasanjo's time in Government & Adam Oshiomole, who cornered the state's money for a fraudulent "storm water project" costing several billions! All these sharing of money has to stop. The people owns the money, why are the citizens not asking questions? |

Everything Buhari Buhari Buhari Buhari Buhari Buhari and no one cares about the state emperors. With what these oil producing states are collecting, they should allow the money to reach the oil producing communities by providing portable water, good roads, rural electrification, quality schools, support small scale businesses in these communities, etc to make their lives better. What we see is embarking on projects that doesn't have anything to do with the oil producing communities. The 13% belong to communities and not for construction of flyover bridges in the City center. Everything Buhari Buhari Buhari Buhari Buhari Buhari Buhari nonsense people. 5 Likes |

oka4ugoo: Abia State is good. It has the least poverty rate in Nigeria today because of good leadership. The only problem they face is same problem of failed federal roads linking Nigerian States. The Buhari Government has tried to an extent in fixing the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway which runs mostly in Abia State though uncompleted. Overall Abia is doing better than most Nigerian States in Education, health, standard of living, FDI attraction, SMEs growth and poverty reduction. |
