Last Friday, students of the University of Calabar had gone on rampage Cross River governor, Liyel Imoke has described the Friday, August 26 destruction of property in the University of Calabar (UNICAL) by students during a demonstration as "most unfortunate". While answering questions from journalist after an assessment of the damage, Imoke reasoned that no matter the cause of the demonstration the students should have opted for dialogue with the school authority rather than resort to wanton destruction.
