Yes, the Lord can be a Deceiver too as the situation demands. Pick up your Bible and follow. If you notice any lie please call my attention to it.

Topic
And your Lord is a great deceiver too

Jeremiah 4:10
Then I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD, how completely you have deceived (nasha) this people and Jerusalem by saying, 'You will have peace,' when the sword is at our throats."

We have it in...

1 Kings 22:20-22
And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?'
"One suggested this, and another that. 21 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the LORD and said, 'I will entice him.'
" 'By what means?' the LORD asked.
" 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,' he said.
" 'You will succeed in enticing him,' said the LORD. 'Go and do it.'

Here we see that the man said that he would resort to lying in order to entice Ahab and God supported the idea and told him to go ahead and do it!

We even have it in...

Ezekiel 14:9-11
" 'And if the prophet is enticed to utter a prophecy, I the LORD have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel. 10 They will bear their guilt-the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him. 11 Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will they defile themselves anymore with all their sins. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "

God is punishing him for a crime that He enticed him to do in the first place? Isn't that entrapment?

Another passage...

Isaiah 37:6-7
Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid of what you have heard-those words with which the underlings of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. Listen! I am going to put a spirit in him so that when he hears a certain report, he will return to his own country, and there I will have him cut down with the sword.'

God had that spirit spread a rumor so that the King of Assyria can to return to his homeland. In short, that spirit's purpose was for deception.

Another example from the Bible...

Isaiah 19:14
The LORD has poured into them a spirit of dizziness; they make Egypt stagger in all that she does, as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit.

Here we see God deceiving people to the extent that they become absolutely foolish.

Even though I don't believe the Gospels teach that Jesus taught he was God, however this example is for those who believe that Jesus is God. Jesus admits that he was speaking figuratively all this time...

John 16:25
"Though I have been speaking figuratively (paroimia), a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.

Why wasn't Jesus speaking in a normal and clear way all the time? Why did Jesus then go and say that he won't 'use this kind of language'?

Well, here we find out why...

Mark 4:10-12
When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. 11He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12so that," 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'

So here we see that Jesus was deceiving certain people by speaking in parables so that they won't (and God forbid!) REPENT AND BE FORGIVEN!

Also in...

2 Thessalonians 2:11
For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.

So God will delude people so that they can believe lies?

b]What is the difference between Allah and Satan ? Both mislead people and Allah boasted to be the best of the deceivers!

Jesus exposed Satan for who he is in John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and you
want to carry out your father's desires. He was
a murderer from the beginning and does not
stand in the truth, because there is no truth in
him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his
own nature, because he is a liar and the
father of lies."

-John 8:44

In the Quran:
Allah is not only a deceiver but the best of
the deceivers, the same title of Satan, the
father of lies.

Quran 8:30
wa-idh yamkuru bika alladhīna kafarū liyuth'bitūka aw yaqtulūka aw yukh'rijūka wayamkurūna wayamkuru l-lahu wal-lahu khayru l-mākirīna

And when those who disbelieved deceive/scheme at you to affix/affirm you, or kill you, or bring you out, and they scheme/deceive , and Allah deceives/schemes and Allah (is) best (of) the deceivers/schemers.

mākirīna is from (مَكْر [makr] ) which means cunning, deceptive, guile.

Allah is the one that leads people astray. Just like the devil

"Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray."
(QS. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 60)

Whoever Allah sends astray - there is no guide for him. And He leaves them in their transgression, wandering blindly."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 186 )

Allah seals people heart so as not to make them believe

Allāh has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.”
-Quran 2:7

“Those [who do so] are the ones that Allāh has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision.”
-Quran 47:23

Can you imagine that this guy has raised many posts regarding this topic in which it was clearly shown that false prophets spoke a lie which Jeremiah taught was from God and then when God spoke with Jeremiah God told him He didn't send them but they prophesied lies in His name. Yet he came here to make it a thread that God deceived Jeremiah.

All the other scripture he posted above too are half truths which he has been using for many years to falsely paint God as a liar. He fails in every attempt.

Yet the liar whose father is the devil came and made a thread on falsehood. He's as shameless as his prophet who gave him taqiyya

If you knew oh man... Who the Lord GOD Almighty IS... you would be very afraid and ashamed to take the position that you do!

"He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he." - Deuteronomy 32:4

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" - Numbers 23:19

"The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works." - Psalm 145:17

"But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased." - Psalm 115:3

You are indeed the emodiment of the spirit of antichrist of this age as predicted in the scriptues. You have indeed made yourself clearly visible by your screen name. At least you are not trying to hide your antichrist agenda. Your agenda shall NOT succeed.

I respond not because it will change you, but I counter you here so that people also can hear the other side (THE TRUTH).

Concerning your post here: CONTEXT is EVERYTHING. You, like devils, demons, is a twister of the word of YHVH. Nothing new here, the devil did it even while Yeshua walked this earth and he is still twisting YHVH's words today for which you are an agent.

I will not go thru these bible references that you have listed because the answer is the same for ALL. Here it is:

CONTEXT is EVERYTHING. CONSIDER the WHOLE of SCRIPTURE. YHVH blessed the people of Israel via their patriachs and gave them conditions for inheriting the blessings/promises (see Deutoronomy especially). IF you continue in my ways, laws and statues, THEN, you shall prosper etc. YHVH also gave them curses for disobedience, one of those curses is that HE would allow them to be overtaken by their enemies. NOW, HOW YHVH carries out his curses is HIS perogative.

In these passages you listed, these people that YHVH "allows" to be deceived are already hell bent on doing their own evil, THEREFORE, YHVH gave them over to their own self initiated deception. YHVH cannot instigate deceit in those following HIS ways. HE allows deceit in those already self deceived as part of ther JUDGEMENT! KEYWORD: "ALLOW".

BUT YOU KNOW THIS: LIKE DEMONS, YOU CHOOSE TO DECEIVE and CLEVERLY TWIST AND PERVERSE. THOSE whom YHVH choose WILL NOT SUCCUMB TO YOUR LIES. ONLY THOSE WHO already have your propensity WILL FALL FOR YOUR LIES.

YOU, yourself, antichristian, YHVH have "allowed" deception to take over your soul, because YOU chose it first. So yes, YHVH has decieved you. HE did NOT start it though, YOU did.

Antichristian, It shall not be well with you UNLESS you forsake your wicked, evil, perverse ways. Spawn of the devil, The Most High YHVH rebukes you.

Elisha and the Two Bears (2 Kings 2:23-25)

23 Then he (Elisha) went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!” 24 When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number. 25 And he went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.

While i was still a Muslim we were taught that the unbelieving Jews wanted to kill Jesus but a God DECEIVED them by placing someone who looks like Jesus in front of them and that's how Jesus escaped death.
Please who is the God that DECEIVED those murderers? undecided

Yes I have heard some Muslim say that in fact it's not just their opinion. It's backed by the Koran. Allah is clearly a deceiver.

Sorry Sir but he will still tell us the God he was referring to. Obviously he's not going to say Allah.

Allah protected His servant in the best way possible! At least, unlike a father that sends his son to be killed as one kind of babalawo sacrifice for others to be saved!

Why not address your Book instead of creating your own thread here?

Jesus was sent to the world yet his message to the world was "encrypted"!

This is more than ignorance!

Of course! Devils like you do not qualify therefore, you must be blocked from assessing the Escape Codes. You just must die and have to die since you love evil and are married to evil, SO DIE WITH EVIL!

So Jesus was sent to some people and not all!

Some people (many actually) like you have you chosen death and not all!

So naturally Jesus was Sent to pick up those who have chosen Life! And the rest can die as they have chosen while the Lifers should Live as they too have Chosen. Deaders 1-1 Lifers. Equation balance.
