The use of Propaganda in Imo politics has been taken too far and I believe it is time right thinking Imolites rise up to put a stop to this ugly trend.
At the heat of the 2011 Governorship elections, certain faceless individuals sent out thousands of bulk sms to imolites with several fictitious names such as “IMO ALERT” “APGA WOMEN” “APGA YOUTHS” ETC , Claiming all sorts of things against the person of the Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha and His Deputy Sir Jude Agbaso. The same faceless individuals went to the press with ficticious publications and computer generated images claiming that Owelle Rochas Okorocha is an Ogboni man . They went as far as printing leaflets and spreading them on the streets of Owerri.
When Imolites disappointed them and voted massively for the Rescue team, thus breaking their hold on Imo people. They decided to re-lunch their attacks with a determination to run down the government with propaganda.
The one that is much disheartening is that these faceless individuals paid over N150,000 each to their hatchet boys and instructed them to enter Keke, go to news stands, go to gatherings and drinking joints ,spread propaganda against the Rescue team.
A careful look at the war on the Internet against the person of the Deputy Governor, Sir Jude Agbaso will show that it is being orchestrated by the same people. 90% of the blog posts they sent out on different blogs and forums on the internet were sent out on August 2nd a clear indication that it is the work of a team of hackers paid to deceive ,Imolites , Nigerians and world with a view to discredit the person of the Deputy Governor of Imo State Sir Jude Agbaso.

God who sees the hearts of all men, the only wise and just judge has vindicated the Deputy Governor Sir Jude Agbaso as a USA Court has ruled that he is completely innocent of all the 17 Count charges leveled against him. This man has maintained that he is innocent from day 1.
This judgment has dealt a big blow on these desperados who have been sponsoring these “internet rats”
This judgment has once again opened the eyes of imolites to see that the very enemies of our state who are angry with Imo people for disgracing them out of office are very much around; the very enemies of imolites who sent out SMS on election morning that Rochas has stepped down are still around.
The very same enemies of Imo people, who have enslaved our state for the past 12 years and allowed our infrastructures to decay, are very much around. We must be vigilant; this government is not up to 100 days in office and has achieved so much including the very things these enemies claimed are impossible “free education”. Let’s give this government time to rescue Imo, let’s ignore these desperados and support the Rescue Team. Together we can make Imo better.
