There were many people there nobody cared to help her.

The train can't stop abruptly at such speed.

How would they have helped her?

Alerted her of the danger earlier and told her to get out of the car not just watching her in a state of confusion.

What makes you think they didn't alert her?

How come she was the only one not hearing the horn of the train or see the train coming that she needed alert?

What was she doing parked on a rail track in the first place?

what are you shouting blood of Jesus up and down for why cant your stupid government place safety measures to avoid such incidents from that video i cant see any rail way crossing sign, alarms, bells or gate which blocks access one a train is approaching. all you Nigerians know how to do is to go to church and conventions praying to God to save you from your own government which you voted in Mumu ppl

the person filming noticed the train coming from afar. Its either she was stocked on the rail track or its a suicide.

Exactly my point. If the person recording saw the train from afar, why didn't he/she alert the woman (I didn't see any evidence of the woman being alerted in the video). There was enough time between the start of the video recording and impact for even a snail tied to a 500kg lead weight to have escaped from the line of danger. There's still something dodgy about that video.

Good Bless You. Oil dey your head. how did the person know this will happen and why was he filming.unless the woman was on a sucide mission

Amen. And you too bro. This video needs to be investigated. Probably the woman was drugged and kept there in that car, knowing fully well this would happen. Probably was then documented visually to make it look either like suicide or an accident. So many questions should arise from this video.

Why is there no railway crossing .this is crazy

Why didn't she run out of the car .

Cameraman had one job and failed

Her family can cash out suing the federal railway for negligence.. there should be a warning bell and gate etc.
We need to be better humans regardless of others foolishness but the numerous hands behind the cameras and phones were after who get to upload it first, now she's gone and here we are again.

How was she alerted? by recording a video or by staring from a distance and saying ohh?

The very fact she open the door means she wanted to escape. How she go there nobody knows except there's an eye witness account beyond the video.

The vibration or whatever they call it from an incoming train often makes nearby cars to malfunction. Her car might have stopped or developed fault on the rail because of that but common sense should've kicked in at that moment. She should've jumped out and fled from the scene before the train rammed on her. She died a foolish death. But you that expected the train to stop for her, I don't even know if I should exchange your brain for a bottle of stout. angry
Any vibration that can Cause a car to malfunction can also send a quick reflex action into the drivers body to flee danger.
My two cents.

MYTH & BULL$#!TS !!!
It is amazing how outright BS and falsehood fly around just because it was put forward with so much confidence by a totally ignorant Social Media influencer.
Talking about the train/car accident that happened in Abuja yesterday and the video circulating about the reason the vehicle driver did not flee to safety when she saw the train bearing down on her. Immediately I read the bull$#!t about the supposed magnetic field from the train trapping the vehicle on the track, I instantly knew it was totally implausible but the sheer confidence it was being used to share it by those that should know better left me confused and I had to do a little research to confirm that my head is still properly screwed on and my engineering knowledge is still intact.
Please, if you have erroneously joined in sharing this falsehood, you need to go and pull it down from your wall or edit and write-in a disclaimer to update the information.
###############################################
You can't find anything on the Internet about it because it's nonsense.
No magnetic field, with the possible exception of an electromagnetic pulse from a nuclear blast, would disable a car.
Neither trains nor train tracks emit a significant magnetic field.
A magnetic field drops off extremely rapidly, based on the square of the distance from the source.
So, given the fact that a train does not emit a significant magnetic field and that a magnetic field drops off rapidly from its source, we can assume the magnetic forces from the train do not exert influence on their environment. Further, we know the car is designed to be impervious to any typically occurring magnetic fields. Therefore, we can safely conclude that this theory was cooked up by somebody with an ignorance of both magnetism and automobiles and should lend it no credence to it whatsoever.
Cars very rarely get stuck on railroad grade crossings. Railroads work extremely hard to make sure that doesn't happen. A more typical reason for a stall is the fact that people slow down to cross the grades, and some poorly tuned engines are more likely to stall when going slow over a bumpy path. See: Cars stalling on tracks.
Does a kind of magnetic field from an incoming train really cause a car to stall on the tracks?

This is the moment when the Abuja- Kaduna train rammed into a car that was on the tracks on Thursday.

The driver of the car was a woman named Hajia Selimat Idowu, who resides in the Chikakore community in Zone E, Abuja. She has been confirmed dead.

Pardon me but why is this country finished as you say?

In 2021, this exact thing happened 2145 times in the US with 234 fatalities. Is the US finished as well?

We Nigerians must learn to stop being our own detractors.

If Nigerians were to be believed,
We are the worst economy in the world ( we are not),
Our currency is the worst performing in the world ( its not).
We are a failed state ( we are not).
Etc.

Yes we have our problems but if we really want this country be better, it starts with us as individuals and our mindset. We cannot build something we keep tearing down.
