There is palpable fear among residents of Lagos especially those in areas affected by the last flooding that claimed many lives. This is due largely to the prediction by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) that another heavy rain is imminent in the state. The recent flooding in Ibadan, Oyo state has not helped matters.
