This was the same story we were told after the first major Abuja bombing by MEND elements.  We were told then that FBI linked Al Quaeda to the bombing:

There is no doubt that Al Quaeda will use religious extremists, MEND, or any other group to achieve their goals.

Today GEJ' government is telling the world the same story i.e. Al Quaeda is linked to the bombing.  

In my humble opinion, this is the greatest cop out by GEJ's government to date. It is an awful admission that they will not be able to stop terrorist acts in  Nigeria, since even, the USA has not been able to stop Al Quaeda.

Enough of this lies and crap by this incompetent government. They need to do the needful and arrest this situation before it gets out of hand.

The solution is

1, Block the entrance to the north,
2, Block the exit which is the northern borders.

3, Search within the north before u know it the bokoharam will run into the police both at the entrance and borders attempting to escape from Nigeria.

Searching for a Mamman Nur is like searching for a Mike Smith, there are thousands by the name.

If intelligence claims that Mamman is "notorious", then it can be deduced that he is:

1. known to anti-crime units in Nigeria;

2. Known in crime circles on the street;

3. He has a open dossier with active surveillance operated by an international anti-terrorism group.

For these many track-able outlets, findding Mamman should not be too difficult; unless the mention of his "notoriety" is nothing but a term-drop to give the imppression of seriousness and credibility on the part of intelligence gathering.

We need facts not fraud from our intelligence units.

Likewise, if a Boko Haram operative is known to have link with al Qaeda and then is recently been in Somalia, he should long time ago have been picked up for interrogation and all his communication as well, places of residence bugged to collect information on him and others he corresponds with.

Why wasn't that done?

How many more strategic assets are on target for demolition and how many more Mamman Nur's are out there and known for "notoriety"?

Its time to collect them.


I'm not sure anyone of us in here in NL is trained on intelligence gathering but I recall in many discussions where many of you have put two and two together with accurate conclusion that Somalians, Darfurians, Chadians, Nigerien's and possibly, Libyans will soon see the relatively small scale success of Boko Haram as a rallying point to escalate and accomplish goals that their own respective locales had denied them.
