This accident seem like the joke one comedian cracked.
He said an aboki driver who had a brake failure rammed into a crowd and killed scores of people.
When he was asked why did he not control his truck to the other side where there was no crowd.He said he controlled his truck where just two people were standing.When the two people ran into the crowd he followed them and rammed his truck into the crowd.Maybe this was what happened

The event started well with the Gov, Orof Ben Ayade declaring the show open. Shortly after, a vehicle from no where rammed to onlookers who were watching the show from the pedestrian walkway by Bogobiri (Hausa settlement) along Mary Slessor road killing 7 on the spot and about 25 terribly wounded. This aggravated the onlookers who started hauling stones on the bikers.
The state government is yet to give an official statement about the incidence
