Elder statesman and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has alleged that there are plans by some people to assassinate the Lagos State gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour ahead of Saturday March 11, election.

George made the revelation at a press conference in Lagos on Monday, March 6, where he referred to the unsolved murder of former governorship hopeful, Funsho Williams, who was assassinated at his Ikoyi residence ahead of the 2007 elections.

George said he and a group, Omo Eko Pataki, had uncovered the heinous plan to avoid repeating the dreadful history.
