Hey pips! i remeber while growing up that i loved to write short  poems and short stories this was one of my first poems:
No one else  looks or acts like u do
No one talks like u
No one else smiles and walks like u do
No one feels for for you
No one else who tries can be
'cos none but you can be you!

, Duhh! rite? well i was really proud of it back then. Share yours with us, please no matter how silly it seems, but short poems please!

I TITLED MINE MATRICULATION, IT GOES THUS


MATRICULATION! MATRICULATION!!
A GREAT INITIATION.
AS A DUCK LONGS FOR A FLOWING STREEM
SO CRAVE MY SOUL FOR THEE.
MY SOUL THIRST FOR THEE
FOR MANY YEARS NOW MY PRAYER HAS BEEN
WHEN SHALL I COME TO BEHOLD THY FACE
I REMEMBER,YES I REMENBER
FRIENDS ALSO SAID TO ME
WHEN SHALL YOU BE INITIATED
WEAC AND JAMB WHER NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL
ALL THIS I REMEMBER
AS I POUR OUT MY SPIRIT, MY GREAT SOUL,
AND LEAD THEM IN PROCESSION
INTO THE HALL OF MATRICULATION.
WITH GREAT SHOUTS AND SONGS OF THANKSGIVING
I WILL WALK TO THE ALTER,
SAYING TO MY PEOPLE
REJOICE AND SING THE SONGS OF ZION
FOR A JAMBITE U ARE NO MORE.

who only came into this world
as an adventuress.

this is mine,
i hope its short as can be

judging by the way she walks
you'd think she's the mistress of the gods
or a force no one can stop
the indispensable puzzle to the odds

you wouldnt know she's lost a son
and wanders alone come rain or come sun
and her people have left her to run
mad, hopeless, deviod of all fun,

she bears her brunt so perfectly well
you wouldnt know her lot
nothing is there for you to tell
since facial smile conceals her hurt.

but get a little closer
not stand afar and judge
you'd sense a crashing world close by
whoo needs everyone support

By putting (am) sounds redundant to me
