The role he was applying for was way beyond his experience. It's not a low ranking job, but the number 1 man of the state.
If you bring their CVs side by side, you can't compare in any way, because Gbadebo's own is not enough to get the job

GRV didn’t lose because his mum is Igbo, he lost because he alienated himself from the Yorubas whilst courting the Igbos.
