This is a prime example of why we're regressing backwards. The contract doesn't need to be cancelled, it needs to be reviewed while the work goes on with an oversight committee. Money has been paid, work has been going on. The Fiance Minister should be abel to continue the work while he/she seeks the assistance of the department of justice to start an investigation. |

The ministry had accused the existing consultant of failure to comply with contract agreements and meet targets for deliverables despite being fully paid. So, the money paid the contractor is gone down the drain? |

That is Nigeria for you, cancelling it is not just the solution but bring the culprits to face the law. Is that not how a siemens national id card contract was cancelled then they gave them an even bigger contract elsewhere from the same federal government. |

They probably can't prosecute them since 50% of the contract was given back as bribes. Anybody that has served in the top two layers of the Federal government of Nigeria since Murtala should be tried for treason. |
