The lawyer asks CCB to take constitutional action within 30 days, or it will ask a court to compel it to do so.

This whole thing is getting interesting. The UK that is supposed to prosecute Peter Obi for moving his earnings to offshore accounts didn't prosecute him but one yeye lawyer wants the CCB to indict and prosecute him.

Tinubu should accept the court invitation served on him ASAP so that the proceedings can start. We are all looking forward to that. If they are trying to distract Peter Obi with this Pandora thing, they had failed before they got started.

The UK does not need to prosecute anyone for Nigeria to take action, since our laws were violated.
But then charging Obi means other PEPs have to be hauled in as well undecided

Unlike Nigeria, public officials indicted in countries like India, Canada and Iceland were either probed, relieved of their positions or resigned from office.

In April 2016, piles of documents listing persons with assets hidden in tax havens, for tax avoidance in home countries, were leaked to journalists who were part of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).

For instance, in Iceland, the outrage from protesting citizens forced their prime minister, Sigmundur Gunnlaugsson, implicated in the Panama Papers for tax evasion, to resign.

In Canada, 85 Canadians identified in the Panama Papers leak were investigated for tax evasion, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) revealed at the time.

Similarly, Armenia’s top bailiff, Mihran Poghosyan; Spain’s Minister for Industry and Tourism, Jose Manuel Soria; head of a state-owned bank in Austria, Hypo Landesbank Voralberg; and Uruguayan lawyer and member of FIFA’s ethics committee, Juan Pedro Damiani, all lost their jobs.

If Bukola Saraki a serving Senate President was made to stand trial before the CCT for not declaring his assets honestly, an ex-governor that underperformed should stand trial.

If Justice Walter Onnoghen, a serving Chief Justice of Nigeria stood trial before the CCT for not declaring his assets diligently, a second runner up should stand trial.

Nobody is above the law. As an Anambra man, I need justice!

The petty thief must return what he looted from Anambra. If he claims it was not looted, then he must inform the CCT why he didn't declare it as a public official. No other way about it.

Obidîot must stand trial for stacking our money in tax havens- facts.

Peter Obi gave some insights into what happened on Arise TV. He stated that the funds were moved when he was in the UK and that it has nothing to do with Nigeria.

He added that if any government has the powers to prosecute him, it should be the UK government, not Nigeria. He made it clear that what he did was very legal in the UK, and didn't see any need to include the funds he had in his offshore accounts when he filled out his asset declaration form. He challenged the EFCC to invite him for questioning.

So, bros, if you are looking for a real thief, go after the Druggie, the one who carries his money in fleets of bullion vans without well-established companies that generate the money.
