Exactly! somebody who rigged election and 14m ApC votes from 2019 became 8.7m in 2023, somebody who rigged election lost his own stronghold state, the president lost his state, the party chairman lost his ward and state. He rig election so tey, 12 of his party’s governors lost their states, 7 of his incumbent governors lost their senate bid.


True true this man is an amateur rigger. He should go and ask OBJ how rigging is done or ask those who got 97% in their states to educate him.

Please stop this issue of rigging, with BVAS it is impossible to rig to make any meaningful impact.

The most you can do now is disrupt an election isn an area where your opponent is strong or over-vote so that elections there are cancelled. How many Pus can you successfully do that? Of the 13,000 PUs in Lagos only 300 had any issues, that’s less than 2%. For all the noise you hear about rigging in Lagos 2% does not affect the outcome. The biggest evidence that rigging is no longer possible is if you look at the numbers in Borno, Delta and Rivers. These are states that used to declared numbers in the millions, none of them saw 600k.

People will tell you about voter intimidation etc, the reality is you can only intimidate in your stronghold, places where even if you allow your opponents to vote freely they won’t make a difference. For instance APC cannot intimidate voters in Anambra, just like there is only so much intimidation you can do in Festac, Amuwo etc. In somewhere like Anambra even if APC supporters were allowed to vote freely, how many votes can APC get in Anambra? Some of the gra gra we see during elections are just gra gra of emotional people that don’t engage their brains. They don’t affect outcome.

This was the most credible election since independence!!!! It’s a pity some people want to delegitimize and tarnish it because they lost.

I have voted in the Uk before trust me it is easier to rig In The Uk than Nigeria. In the Uk anybody on the voters register is eligible to vote and is sent a card for Election Day. That card is all that is asked from you at the PU, no ID, no nothing. To be on the voters register you don’t need ID, You can put as many names including fake names on the register as you like and you can register in multiple if you like. I can sit down in Nigeria and register fake names on the voters register in the Uk online. Many people are also registered on the voters register at multiple addresses. Because the credit system works on the voters register so once your credit is bad you just register at another address and rebuild your credit but a consequence of that is you can vote at multiple places simultaneously. These same people will come here and be telling us about democracy and credibility.
