First you have to die before you can resurrect, right?

Here is documentary from BBC Archive claiming that Jesus perhaps did not die on the cross. And the that the bible had been edited several times to adjust for resurrection.

What more? It suggested that Jesus lived into old age, and left several evidence for people who seek the truth.

Jesus. Is a myth, it's a made. Belief to control the human mind into love and compassion. Imagine not believing in Jesus and having love and compassion. That is all you want. Love is the religion. If you believe in Jesus and you don't have love and compassion it's a tragedy for you

What proof do you have that Jesus does not exist?
Even secular historian made mention of Jesus and his disciples work. Same historian made mention of Caeser and Pilate

It's possible he existed in some form or the other. But the issue is that the Bible has been heavily edited and not a completely reliable account. Some things were even added later on.

A typical example is the meeting between Jesus and the adulterous woman. That account was not found in the original script of the Book of John. It was added later.

So when you begin to look the number of things that were added later into the bible, and those that were edited out, you'll begin to wonder if the bible is indeed an accurate account of event.

This God matter self is very critical for understand. When someone mentions 'God' it's important to place it in context. Which 'God' - Yahweh, Allah, Amun Ra, Baal? By the way, these 'Gods' here have their origin in Sumeria. They were collectively called Elohim (the powerful ones or assembly of Gods). Until the Hebrews replaced Elohim with Yahweh, and then later God Almighty to transistion from polytheism to monotheism

One may not be able to provide evidence such as you requested, but the argument can be made that the Jesus story is very much garnished, at least the video documentary provide some insight.

It is a fact that the letter J was invented in 1524. I do not believe that Yeshua is more difficult to pronounce than Jesus. So why the need to change the name from Yeshua to Jesus? So technically speaking Jesus did not exist until 1524.

Have you bothered to examine the argument that a variation of Jesus (Esus) existed and that individual could have been merged with Yeshua?

Again, Galileans are darker toned than the image of this white Jesus that are shown to the world as image of Jesus. I asked, is the God of Israel ashamed of the colour of his beloveth son? Why the colour change?

Another argument is that by changing the from Yeshua to Jesus, how did they transfer the 'authority and power' that was bestowed on Yeshua to the new name Jesus? Did Jesus' father approve the name change?

A wise person will look at all these and begin to ask question, and look evidence. The bible is just one account of history, and it is very compromised.

They are atheists seeking gullible religionists to make their proselytes in athiesm. They are far more zealous preachers than churchgoers but they keep disguising as if they're not out to make disciples in atheism.

That's why Jesus sent us out in search the LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL {Matthew 10:6} if they're not sheep there's no need wasting our precious time with them! Matthew 7:6

If, for example, Jesus were alive today and a Bible writer wrote about him and mentioned the names of notable persons that were ruling e.g, Buhari and Sanwoolu and where they ruled and the dates they ruled and some important events that happened during their rulership
Then 2000 years later, people say Jesus did not exists but secular Nigerian historians wrote about Jesus Christ and his activity, there are also coins and stones that were found to show that Buhari and Sanwoolu existed at a particular time period and some important things happened, corroborating what the Bible writers wrote, only a ignorant fool will still go ahead to doubt it.
Nobody claims that Confucius (who lived in earth long before Jesus came) existed, nobody says that prophet Muhammed did not exist yet it is Jesus they WISH and want to believe did not exists yet he is now the most influential figure of all time down to our day and even his words have become the key to most of the rights we enjoy today.
Pilate, Lysanias, Herod Agrippa, Gamaliel, Caiaphas, Caeser, and the First Roman registration (census) @ all historically proven including how criminals were punished yet you want to be blind. I wonder how people reason even in this 21st century and it's a pity they claim to be wise when they are very foolish

When we say “Jesus”, we are not referring to a man who lived 2000 years ago, but to a certain possibility within every human being.
It is the Qualities that Jesus posses that everyone should emulate. Not to argue maybe he Existed or not. Fine he existed but did you emulate his qualities?? That is the question.

What has a change in spelling or pronunciation of names (due to language) got to do with Jesus Christ existence?
I am Emmanuel, I can't go to Spain or France and expect that it is spelt or pronounced that way.
Mention one name in the bible that it's spelling and pronunciation is same everywhere

It's completely possible to make up fictional characters, and introduce them into the society. Okonkwo and Amalinze did not exists, but Things Fall Apart gave them a larger than live appearance, with their stories situated in real life environment of the Igbo people with the coming of the missionary, A few truth garnished with a lot of lies is what propagandist mostly use. As we speak a bible has been written with Kanye West as the creator, as God. Given time and enough propaganda, as no one will remember the story of the deity God of Israel and his supposed creation of heaven and earth.

But I would not argue against the existence of Yeshua as, clearly, alot of evidence suggests he existed. But the issue here is was Jesus same as Yeshua? That's the question one need to answer especially with all the evidence to show that the bible has been several edited to infuse Roman culture to make the bible more acceptable to the roman empire. Secondly a lot of efforts were made after the fact to promote the idea of Jesus' divinity, whereas the Yeshua that came was just a man like you and I.

When some religious group sponsored and expedition to Mesopotamia to confirm the truth of several bible account, what they found is mindboggling. I believe that's something you need to research yourself.

Oga go sit down, have you seen Jesus before. Or you only read it in book, or the bible.? I'm a realist and you are a believer. I'm not here to argue weather Jesus existed or not with you. If Jesus Christ existed or not it did not makes any meaning. It's Jesus qualities which is love and compassion. That is what matters.

Let's narrow down to the depiction of the name in the English bible which were are familiar with. Is Jesus easier to pronounce compare to Yeshua? The original name of Jesus is Yeshua, same as Joshua. So why did they leave one Joshua in the bible and created a Jesus? An argument put forward was that they were trying to distinguish Joshua the one who led Israel into Canaan from the Joshua the messiah, the question is what were they calling him until 1524? When did they realize there was confusion with the two Joshua? I'm only asking question cos many of you just accept things the way you see them.

You can keep holding on to straw as religion demands, but that does not stop non-religious people from seeking answers to academic question.

Jesus was dark toned man; depict your messiah correctly let the people decide how they feel. What's the need for packaging? Is Christianity ashamed of the color of the messiah as suggested by the Roman authority?

The people who repacked this figure goofed big time. I would have done a better job by reconciling names.. ie. Using Emmanuel or yeshua instead of Jesus. But I get it, they are smart and know fully well, majority won't buy into the idea since Emmanuel or yeshua were never the biblical incarnated son. They were avoiding the concept of 're-incarnation', a popular concept in Igbo land ...kikiki
