though i cant find any sources that graph the percentage of oil and gas contribution to GDP prior to 2018, i believe that it has for a long while not occupied that large a portion of the GDP.

either way its a good step nigeria is taking, now the main issue is the budget deficit which might get resolved with an increase in tax collection and the removal of the fuel subsidy
