These are private companies oo, with diesel at 800 plus, diesel increased astronomically and they expect bills not to increase astronomically?

This had been announced since last year October.

Cost of one trip of diesel for a compactor was about 16000 naira for 50 liters as at early last year, diesel is now 800 plus 50 liters is around 42k plus, I am talking of per trip.

Lets not talk about parts and all anyway one needs to be in the trucking /compactor business/system to know these details. You could easily get a compactor for 5M those days now you will hold at least 15M.

Let's not even talk about parts, if your driver makes mistakes to call you like this lasan your heart will be doing gbim gbim like what has spoilt again oo, astronomically expensive, Tyre nko, if it burst like this wahala.

Point is costs of business has risen drastically, the govt had made jingles since last year October about the increase, all these na just noise. These communities have been met with since last year, most communities are resisting the increase, people don't want to pay simple.

The PSP operators cannot continue running at astronomical loss, lots of them have packed up some of these operators their diesel costs monthly run as high as 11 million depending on how many trucks they have.

I just ignore those shouting govt this, APC that, except we all want these operators to run down that's all.

Even the 200 naira is a very minute fraction of what the service cost years ago.
They have been paying this 200 naira for about 10 year and they expect they will increase it to 300 naira?


People can shout all they want it doesn't change anything.

The residents of the estates are all Igbo and south south people so no cause for alarm. Omoluabi people don't Ve to pay a dime.

We need to consider these companies too. The cost of running their services is not expected the same as before.

How would they meet up if the keep charging the same amount as before when the cost of running their business is becoming very high these days?

Anybody that reads it will know that the fees are not exorbitant for a metropolis like Lagos. Those that live within the estate in Lagos pay far more than this for refuse collection. They want the companies to revert to what they have been paying since 2010 which to me is unfair considering the reality of the economy.

They've been paying that amount since 2008/09 ooo and they still want the psp to maintain the same service ..I think the community is unfair by dragging the PSP to court.

you seems not to understand, they were paying 200 Naira per room, calculate how many rooms are in the area and multiple by 100. My cousin stays in Airport room, he asked me about this the last time I visited, that was about 3 weeks ago. He was paying 1750 for a flat but was increased to 4900. Imagine paying almost 5000 for waste, electricity is about 50k monthly. How much is his salary?

I don't think a reasonable person will reject bills.
What understand is that when the economy is going down. Most small businesses can not survive and inflation rate is at it peak how do u think people will cope?
When jobs are being given base on who knows who not on merit how do u think people be happy to pay bill outrageous bills

You can not just wake up over night and increase bills to that outrageous percentage without putting the economy situation of the country into consideration.

People are just trying to come out of scarcity of naira wahala in which so many people will be out of business and here comes an outrageous bill
