Assuming the average payment per month is 5k that is about 1.25 million per month and N15 million per annum for just 5 streets. What understand is that when the economy is going down. Most small businesses can not survive and inflation rate is at it peak how do u think people will cope?

What matters is how much the services cost to provide, as operators have to cover their costs and still have enough left over for it to be worthwhile - otherwise they could simply invest their money in the bond market and rest easy. Too many Nigerians have an attitude of entitlement, expecting others to give them goods and services for artificially low prices (or even free) as if others owed them simply for existing.
