On what ground Mr. Man? Who made Apapa the chairman of LP? As it stands Apapa is an interloper and not even LP member because he has be expelled from the party by the highest organ of the party, NEC. Instead of him fighting to be absorb back into the party, he is allowing himself to be used as pawn in the hand of the enemy of LP.

According to electoral act obi did not qualified to contests under labour party, he did not meet up with the 30 days membership requirements before contesting

The concoctions they feed you people will not be the end of you. Quote which section of the Electoral Act now, that's when you discover you're worth nothing but 'Copy and Paste'. Zero research skills.

My prayer is that none of you end up in a classroom with kids. Misinformation, they say, moves like a Pascal Triangle πŸ₯²

olodo, I still says it for the second time obi did not qualify to contest under labour party.
section 77(3) of the Electoral Act, 2022, mandated all political party to submit its comprehensive register of members to the (INEC) 30 days before its presidential primary.
Obi was still a member of the PDP at the time labour party summited their register to inec
β€œ(He) resigned his membership of the PDP on 26 May 2022 and joined the Labour Party the following day being 27 May 2022.

β€œ(Labour Party) conducted its Presidential Primary on 30 May 2022 which produced (Obi) as the candidate, That is to say, the said register of members must have been submitted to (INEC) on or before 30 April 2022.
β€œ(Mr. Obi) as of 30 April 2022 was still a member of the PDP and his name was not and could not have been in the register of members submitted by (LP) to (INEC)”.
you see how obi will be humiliated soon, labour party don't even have a presidential candidate in the last election.

Does this section forbid the party from registering new members or does it say newly registered members are forbidden from contesting in elections? Does it forbid people from leaving political parties?

You're just being selectively ignorant all the way down to a Sunday morning. If you begin your Mondays like this, it's probably no wonder you are the way you are ✌️

Many of them are not even conversant with news and happenings. A case that has reached Appeal Court and judgement has been given in favour of Peter Obi is what they are still blindly carrying about, when they only rely on whatever they are fed with in their WhatsApp group.

Since you people doesn't read news, here below is the Appeal Court judgement on the same section that APM went to court to bar Peter Obi from contesting, which FHC and Appeal Court struck out for no locus standing.
The electoral Act only asked the party to submit list but never give reasons why party must submit it. So what should court rely on to give judgement or the court should say, submission of party membership list tantamount to non-admittance of people to party or new members should not participate in party activities or vying for elective positions because they submitted list. Common sense.
