UK did not force anyone to Pay 2 PLAY........ If I pay for a service and not pleased with the service I receive........ I would STOP paying for that service....... No, they do not have whole communities in the UK on chokehold as the muslims on this thread will be in a better position to tell you. Nigeria is a different story entirely. Extremism appears to be the default position. hustla: |

When is your time please cos you always come across as someone that has the solutions to all UK problems? Yet, you don't have an idea of who he was referring to. What I can however deduce from your posts and comments is that they are usually lopsided and strongly politically motivated/influenced. Anything to sell your political views and paint the opposition party bad. Typical politician you are!! missjekyll: 1 Like |

Hi People, Please I am in dire need of a driving instructor in Leeds. I have done driving lessons in Bradford, however, the earliest test date I could get is sometime in July. I have changed to a closer date (23rd of this month) and just need an instructor in Leeds for about 3-5 hours lesson so as to familiarise myself with the route. The test is for an automatic car and I already have 5 years experience back home. Please recommend a good instructor as I don't want to move dates. I have contacted a few driving schools from my search online and they said they don't take in candidates with less than a month to the driving test. Please please. |

Is your life better today than 5 years ago? Mine definitely isnt. I know exactly who is to blame and i will do everything in my power to shred them come the General Election. A very large portion of the country agrees with me and are sharpening their claws too. Even the MPs themselves can feel it . They have been announcing their intention not to contest in droves. This hamza has never ever been mentioned before in any context.(he is now serving life without parole in the US) I think lexus is saying he should have been arrested earlier ,that may well be but sounds like he has got his just deserts. I have never claimed to know everything but I don't need to. I only need to make the connection between my decline in living standards and the cause. Addendum: I also try to keep the thread welcoming of everyone no matter the gender, religion ,sexual orientation. Thats why i called out that statement as it sounded rather islamophobic . dupyshoo: 4 Likes |

giselle237: I believe the OP was not getting one for visa application but for the travel itself. It is always advised to get Travel insurance in place for travellers most especially those coming from Nigeria. Visitors are not covered after 7days emergency care and if anything happens afterwards the bills quickly ramp up. There are lots of sad stories online and go fund me being set up to cover bills, repatriation cost etc. When the unexpected happens. 1 Like |

Starmer left it way too long to call for a ceasefire. Hamas is different from the Palestinians. I would be up in arms if the Nigerian government bombed my hometown while claiming to be hunting IPOB. Israel had the ability to use targeted missiles to limit civilian deaths and did not use it. They even bombed hospitals and food queues. So many tiny coffins. No, not in my name. I support South Africa's case against them. Lexusgs430: 4 Likes 1 Share |

hustla: I guess he's a UK citizen now, so he really cannot relate with whatever you're saying. It's just like Nigerian leaders who enjoyed Awolowo's free education, drank free fresh milk while in UI, went on govt scholarship to Europe and became big men, but ensured the gemerations after them didnt enjoy that privilege. Sometimes it's better not to talk at all... Stating the "facts" in a mocking/abusive way doesn't help anybody. Imagine Β£20!!! 12 Likes 1 Share |

ubby26: Hmmm strange no one wants to take you on. Have you driven in the UK with your 1yr βallowanceβ ? If so, I think you might be able to do a crash course with some of the independent driving instructors. Just try and convince them youβre almost ready and just need touching up as youβre rough around the edges, especially as your is automatic which is a lot easier. Some might do a mock test to ascertain your level to see if youβre worth taking on. You could also go the test centre and source instructors from there. Some desperate trainers are usually lurking around. For me personally, the driving experience was easy. (I even felt over-prepared at the end of the day, after all the warnings and scare mongering). Maybe itβs because I: - have driven for many years in Nigeria - drove in the UK for one year with my Nigerian drivers licence (manual) - passed theory test (first time) - passed practical (first time with only one minor) - did a bunch of crash courses with 3 different instructors. First two instructors, said I was NOT ready or not available for my target date and wanted me to push it backwards. Found a 3rd guy who was very calm and reassuring. He told me my driving was at a very high standard and just needed to brush off some minor bad habits, took me for 3 or 4 mock sessions and that was it. - also watched a lot of DGN and other YouTube videos - I practiced all the test routes in my local area multiple times (by myself). To anyone reading this, it is possible! 11 Likes 1 Share |

Jamesclooney: I read it's not a legal requirement to get a driving instructor before going for practical driving test. So do you think practicing the routes, studying a lot of DGN videos and putting the car in order (no dashboard lights on) would be enough? 1 Like |
