YESTERDAY
I looked at my leg and smiled at the shoe I wore. It was heavily stained with dust. I remember in December 2012, I had build up plans to do a new business and pastoral work. I wanted to preach and teach about the Word Himself. Three months later, God the Word spoked to me and He said, push aside all this your plans. What you wanted to do is not my will for you.

I then asked God, what is your will for me?
What do you want me to do?

He said, continue to do what you love and wait upon me. My purpose for you will become more clearer.

I never knew God purpose for me must come through troubles, humiliation and walking through the wilderness journey of life. After God spoked to me, I realize I had entered the wilderness just as Israel walked through and spent 40 years in fellowship and walk with God.

Israel did nothing but accept God promised. In order to test their faith and purify their hearts, the children of Israel had to cross the red sea and wander through a desert, where there was no water. Then the battles started for them; the Egyptians attacked, the Amalekites attacked, then the Canaanites, the Medianite and on and on it went. The Jews had to learn to fight. They fought hard and conquered their enemies, and later settled in the land God had promised them. (Joshua 21:43)

When we learn to fight behind our Lord, Jesus Himself, we, too, will have victory in life. Between the place where we receive the promises of God and the fulfillment of those promises, there will always be a wilderness that is the exact opposite of what God has promised us.

We will have to go through extreme trials just as the scripture James 1:2-4,12 says; Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

THE FOUR MEN
After many years of my walk in the wilderness and valleys, I saw a huge white mansion and a big white hall like a worship center that was built in a large compound. This compound was all painted in pure white and has a large yard and field that was well fenced all round.

I saw many people, men, women, children and various cars in this large compound own by worshipers. These people all seem happy and in a celebration mood. They all put on pure white attires. I then asked myself, are these people celestial church Christians or what?

In my confusion, I signaled a boy to come. This boy seem to be about 13 years of age. I asked him, is this place a church? No, he replied me.

What is this place and who are these people wearing all white?

He said to me they are doing seven days festivals like that of churches. People of all caliber, the rich, the super rich and poor do come here to worship and celebrate. I then understood they are idol - Satanic worshipers. They are people who worship Lucifer via mermaid spirits.

The boy began to tell me about how wealthy the man is, and how this man who was once very poor, but now has become very rich. He has gotten so much money that can buy anything.

He started pointing different cars, buildings and houses this idol worshiper has bought from the people that lives around him. He has bought all the houses from his neighbors and still makes multi million naira offers to entice other neighbours to sell their property unto him. He even built his own river creek that is connected to his mansion where he made water sacrifice to marine spirit.

I then told the young boy. All this property and wealth you highly esteem in the life of this man are cursed. He sternly looked and frown at me. 😟

He wondered in his mind and heart, is the guy OK?

He unhappily said to me, don't you see that this man has 💵 manieee?

I know he is young lad and won't understand. I can't convince him, so I codedly agreed with him over his strong assertion and belief on the power of money, irrespective of where the money came from. I shake my head, thanked him for our conversation and I walk away. I knew in my heart of heart that, the generation of this man are in doom.

Any man who marry into such a family will later face the consequences that will arise.

I know a man in my former boulevard. This man was once a poor man who was working so hard to care for his family. All of a sudden he establish a business and grow wealthy. Other business ventures and operators like him collapse because of the massive crowd that patronize his business.

He became super rich and bought all the houses around him. He moves with many escort of soldiers, guarding him. He has different calibers of people working for him. People celebrate him, respect him and worship him because of his money.

I heard many people say that he got his money from the devils. At first I was full of doubt, but I later saw that it was true. He could not endure suffering. He was once a poor man who wanted success. He went and made covenant with marine powers. He asked them to give him wealth.

He has one of the biggest mermaid shrine in his house, also, another giant shrine in his home town. He will do 7 days festivals in honor of water spirit. Millions of naira will be thrown into the rivers as sacrifice to mermaids.

I use to defend him, but I lost total respect for him when I discovered that, he got his wealth from marine spirits. A wealth gotten through loyalty, rooted from generation covenant. Any of his children who try to worship God will die. Any man or woman who marry into that wealthy family is in soup.

His generation must worship and pay homage to the mermaids

THE MESSAGE
Poverty and suffering is very bad experience even though it is a temporary state of being. It is God's will that every man on earth should suffer and endure trials.

God desire that, every human must go through trials and endure suffering. Although, not everyone must suffer poverty and not everyone will become rich. If God allowed every one to suffer poverty, then society will deteriorate and collapse. So, God allowed some people to have prosperity according to His permissive will.

Prosperity is from the spirit, and then in the soul before it flows into the natural (3 John 2). God did not call everyone to be a millionaire for that is a special gift and talent that He gives to some; so please do not try to be what God never meant you to be. He did promise to meet all our needs and add blessings to us when we put Him and His righteousness first (Phil. 4:19; Matthew 6:33)

If you do have such a call, then remember that God would definitely deal with your character and motives first. In the end it is not natural blessings that we will bring to heaven but it is the transformation and development of our spirits and souls that we bring with us into heaven.
