Tinubu will have little wins here and there but will lose a couple of major ones which will see him removed.

The Supreme Court judgment today is a big win for Obi because Tinubu's entire counter petition is based on Obi joining LP less than 30days before primaries. Now it's settled APC lacks locus standi to challenge Obi's candidacy.

Obi is very wise, came with his petition from all angles, atleast two must stick.

What of the double nomination of senator kashim dey threw out today?

That double nomination judgement is a win for Tinubu and Obi. Only logical minds understand this

Says the old fart who spends his old age promoting tribal and ethnic sentiments that tear at the very fabric of national cohesion and trust.

Hypocrite.

Lets assume there was referendum clause in the 1963 constitution, do we use that constitution today? It was thrown out in 1966 and Nigeria has never gone back to that constitution.

The biggest contributor to disunity is lack of equity and justice. But ofcourse, you'd like to deceive yourself that Igbos are the problem but angry with IPOB for attempting to break Igbos away from Nigeria, when you should be happy
If they had supported the referrendum clause and the niger delta republic, there would have been no need for the 1967 war you pointed to, stop deceiving yourselves about the war. The war was by and large the result of your greed.
At the present day, ipob is not the first or only group agitating for a break, but there is no other group that went about insulting and promoting hate against other ethnic groups like nnamdi kanu and his ipob. Until you learn to seperate wheat from the chaff will never achieve anything tangible. Ipob is taking igbos backwards with their unrealistic agenda but you are just too blind to see that.

You wanna break out of a country and think you can do it by being friendly? You have no sense of history or happenings around the war.

You think you're doing Igbos a favour to allow them go, who is complaining of the Igbos everyday?

So what exactly has ipob achieved besides creating hatred and allienating igbos from their neighbours?

At what point has Nigerians ever been killed like this?
Re: Lack Of Trust Tearing Up Nigeria, Says Edwin Clark by DMerciful(m): 2:17pm On May 26, 2023
Igbo hate preceeds independence. Go and listen to the speeches of Amadu Bello. Go and read about the killings of Easterners in the North in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 80s. There was no IPOB then, was there?

Go and read the submission by Achebe, before he died. There was no IPOB then.

The way you guys mention IPOB, an outsider would think that its another name for bandits or Fulani herdsmen or bokoharam

One who listens to you would think only igbos where killed up north in past. Igbos are not the only victims, your egocentricity is your greatest undoing. The war ended long ago but you igbos are still stuck in time. Make use of what you have today and leave the past behind. Yes ipob has mislead igbos.
Re: Lack Of Trust Tearing Up Nigeria, Says Edwin Clark by DMerciful(m): 2:29pm On May 26, 2023
If you're a honest man you'd know that the current policies of govt is as though the war has not ended. They treat Igbos with distrust and expect the Igbos to be subservient.

Some even boast that the Igbos can never be president because of the uncivil war.

But the Igbos are survivors, they'd thrive when others make policies to affect them but instead are affected the most.

Im not sure exactly what policies you refer to, or who you mean when you say "they treat igbos..."; However, I think Igbos have been in top positions of power to a large extent.
In terms of infrastructure, sea ports, rail way lines, the igbos dont have any worse than the niger deltans, the warri and calabar ports are almost non-functional for whatever reasons, the govt has always been bad managers of businesses. Lagos port has particularly been more active even in the past, perhaps it has a more favourable seascape compared to others.
Igbos should be building bridges accross the niger and up north, rather than fighting everyone.
Re: Lack Of Trust Tearing Up Nigeria, Says Edwin Clark by DMerciful(m): 3:23pm On May 26, 2023
No nationality has built more bridges than the Igbos. Igbos is the only nationality where the actions of few is used to punish the whole.

Nobody has said that they'll not vote for Fulanis because of the actions of Fulani herdsmen and bandits killing across Nigeria but you hear we will not vote for you because of IPOB.

It has never happened that Igbos clash with other nationalities in Igbo land but people will say you don't build bridges, just because we reject Bubu and APC who we know will fail and they have

You want trust? Bring REGIONALISM. Let EVERYONE go and mind their various regions. Some people will leave their badly run states and move to states that are better run. And put undue pressure on the infrastrusture and services of the better run states. This is one of the roots of distrust.

A subject called Patrotism should be introduced in Nigerian schools because we don't genuinely love this country. Nigerians are only interested in how they will steal from this country and give nothing in return.
You're extremely wise...

When Nigerians even the state government stopped celebrating independence day oct 1st I know patriotism has disappeared from our conscience

Trusting a yoruba man is like trusting the devil. Believing any yoruba man is like handing your life directly to Lucifer himself.

You are part of our problem Baba .. When the North allowed Jonathan to continue and finished the tenure of Yaradua ,you are part of those who told not to step down after his tenure and continue .. How would they trust you again ?
