Compensate for Abiola saga after Obasanjo’s 8 years?

And yes, I agree that the north will always prefer a Tinubu to an erratic Obi because they are afraid of the kind of reforms that Obi would introduce if he becomes president.

But let’s see how much the northern establishment and Wike and Tinubu’s links in the judiciary will help them.

I want to see how the courts will excuse Tinubu getting fined for a drug related offense.

I want to see how the courts will ignore the overwhelming evidence before them and rule to the contrary.

Like I said before, the judiciary would have to yank off a considerable portion of our constitution and the Electoral Act to retain Tinubu.

Looking at the evidence self, none will stick.you saw how all the court cases against him ended.
Firstly obi cannot prove he won without recount or biometrics or bvas.
Secondly, that drug case is dead just like the double nomination.whether fine, conviction or whatever,it must be 10 years.again,it must be registered in Nigeria so that side is dead as dodo....
The only side that obi can succeed partially is cancelling some units in apc and pdp territories and ordering a rerun which ofcourse he will still lose.

Brother Bernard… (anticipating a fall)

While Brother Bernad falls down which is a comic relief, permit me to say that Igbos know next to nothing about politics. They play politics with sentiments and emotions, they play politics with hatred and envy, they’re not united and that’s why they’re never at the front burner of National politics in this country. The government at the top involve them in politics at the National level and give them appointments simply because they’re Nigerians and there’s need to carry them along. Which is good.

A typical Igbo man will put money in front first before considering anything else. Imagine the igbo people kidnapping a sitting governor inside his office. They sit at their comfort zone and want everything handed over to them. It is not done like that. For how long did Tinubu start his plans to become the president? It took him years. More than 20years. That’s how it works.

I feel there’s need for my Igbo brothers and sisters to start Planning now. Because after Tinubu comes down as president after 8years, the south east guys will take over. But if they fail in their attempt to come together, then they will fail again and the position will return back to the North.

I completely disagree with you and your views about the IGBOS and their politics.
IGBOS in Nigeria, play their politics according to the way other tribes play their politics also.
You have not been able to carefully analyze state of the IGBOS, to know why it's like they are not getting it right.
In Nigeria politics, the only position they have not gotten is that of the president, others, they have.
Other regions have more states than the IGBOS. Noth West have Seven States with more local governments, South West, have Six, same with South- South and North Central. Only South East has 5 state s, can you compare 5states to 6or 7 states?
Do you know the implications of that 1-2 states difference?
By that 1-2 states difference, you are denied the position of 3-6 senators, 14-21 house of Reps members, revenue allocations, federal presence etc. Realize that politics is a game of numbers.
If with our limitations, we have been able to reach all political positions but one, how can you accuse the IGBOS of playing wrong politics?
We're like disadvantaged now because a new Party took over the reigns of politics, this is natural. When PDP, were in power were was Tinubu and the West? Opposition.
Another sheriff , political party may come tomorrow that will look towards the position of the IGBOS. This life and politics.
Power is TRANSIENT.

The part of the constitution that talked about dishonesty didn’t state any timeline as expiry date for a dishonest act nor did it limit the jurisdiction to Nigeria or Nigerian courts.

So, because somebody was charged for murder in the US but found a way to run away from US and came back to Nigeria, he’s now a saint since he wasn’t charged in a Nigerian Court?

That part is is still in subsection D which starts with conviction and 10 years span.the dishonest act is subsumed under Or...

You must submit the judgment of the foreign court and register it here just as a foreign lawyer must register in Nigeria...
