Why do you think Dangote has zero investment in the east, has nearly zero igbo friends or partners and has never commented about igbos? Do you think it is a coincidence? He holds us in the same contempt that the poor people from his tribe hold us.

While I admit that mistakes where made by the man who built this skyscraper (he should have built it in Awka or Onitsha and not in his village), I also want you to know that that house will still be there in the next 50 years and in that time, may attract similar investment. Our mistake in Igbo land and blacks in general is we don't think long term.
In 1940s Las Vegas was a desert. A wasteland. Then the first skyscraper casino opened by Italians, then the second over many years. Today Las Vegas is the sin capital of the world.
If our Igbo fathers did not run to lagos after the civil war, igboland will be developed today.
If we the young people of today don't run to lagos today, igboland will be developed tomorrow.
Think 100 years, not 10 years. That's where your mistakes start.
