JAMB had informed the public at the time that many candidates had forged their results and inflated their scores through the activities of scammers but insisted that what they were parading were fake results.
In the same year, JAMB arrested a 19-year-old candidate, Adah Eche, for allegedly upgrading his UTME scores from 153 to 290. The candidate was said to have patronised some individuals on social media who claimed to “upgrade candidates’ scores.” The details of the fraudulent practice were eventually traced to and found on Master Eche’s mobile telephone. Meanwhile, after getting his scores inflated, the candidate wrote a letter to JAMB, accusing it of making a mistake in the scores earlier released. Upon investigation, details of the fraudulent transaction were found on the candidate’s phone. Other details found on his phone were of him encouraging other candidates who scored below the cut-off marks to upgrade theirs as well in order for them to gain admission.

This is Nigeria where 17 year-old boy killed a girl and was caught burning her head for money-making rituals. I have seen brilliant students cheat in exams hall.

There was a time in this country that jamb server has a terrible glitch that scored all applicants above 200, few years back, we also remember how their poor server impede accreditation every year, jamb is notorious for these, this makes it difficult to believe jambs side of the story, and also why couldn’t they wait for dss investigation if they were not trying to cover their poor outing

The House said it was cognizant of the fact that uploading or downloading results of examinations or polls electronically, in Nigeria, glitches can occur at any time, hence the need to establish the facts before any blames.
The poor girl may be innocent, and JAMB might be innocent too. The problem could be from their server, glitches in uploading and downloading of results, as the House had rightly pointed out, which I also suspected.
JAMB, as an institution, will try to cover up their mistake by accusing the poor innocent girl.

I still can't fathom why any sensible girl will fake her JAMB result to have the HIGHEST SCORE. Highest score that will easily attract nationwide publicity & also attract the attention of JAMB to come & easily expose it as fake.
