Pls guys I equally need a response to this. Is it that nobody has used flutter wave to pay their fees?

Hello Guys, pls, omeone should explain the 1+1 PGD while in canada.

For example, before my first program ends, I should have gained admission for the next intake right?

Also, during student permit extension for the second program, does one needs to submit another bank statement to IRCC?

It a new deployment seen it myself but haven't used it yet still time comes, but I trust flutterwave so give it a try. I checked it though it gives my bank rate not sure how true, as I said try it out going to work but for the bank rate I don't think so, they will charge you but it will be low.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 4:03pm On Sep 28, 2023
You can get a 3-year PGWP if you complete two programs. Note the following:
The duration of each program must be at least 8 months
Each Program must be from a DLI and PGWP eligible.
Do not apply for PGWP after completing the first program, as PGWP is not extendable (although there is a current temporary policy that allows such extension for people whose work permit has expired or will be expiring)

You should apply for admission before the first program ends; programs fill up quickly.
Yes, proof of funds is required to extend your study permit

You can use it, they offer official rates. They are trying to get the form A market since regular banks are no longer playing in that market.

Finally PPR.
The journey started in October 2022 when I did medicals for UK but the TB x-ray came out with scars in my chest and I was told to do sputum test. Result came out 28th of Dec 2022, 2 came out positive and 1 negative. I had to start treatment for 6 month and didn’t pursue the UK anymore. However, decided to apply for Canada study permit during the end of my treatment in May. I applied for Canada study permit May 31st and got denied June 22nd due to proof of fund even with 26m. Their reason was, I had the money quite alright but my salary cant provide me such huge amount, so I had to reapply and explain I got cash gift a year ago from my dad and showed when it entered my account a year ago. I also went further to get GIC certificate and paid 85% of my school fees since the school didn’t allow me to pay 100%. This was to proof that the money is mine and not for show off as they previously thought. By the way I had to do another sputum for Canada medical and also see a lung specialist to be sure I am perfectly okay. It was an interesting experience of almost a year. I thank God it ended in praise. Thank you @ketima for your advice, thank you @bigsammy for guiding me on GIC and how to draft LOE. Also, thank you @bobomaigida for reviewing my sop. God bless you guys. I hope this helps someone out there.
Submitted August 8 (second application)
Upfront medical July 3 which was completed and submitted 25th of September (changed to reviewing 25th of September
Eligibility review changed 26th of September
PPR 27th of September

Please can you guide on how to go about getting GIC. I have reached out to various Canadian banks but they keep saying I need to be in Canada to get one.

Good evening all,
Please I just started my application. On the forms to be filled, I am seeing a place for UCI number but I can't quite figure it out. I have been playing around my profile but can't find the UCI number.

Hello,
Good afternoon house,
Please I need urgent response pls.
I tried to make an FX transfer today for my GIC, and was told by access bank that the limit I can transfer is 10k USD.

My GIC is 20,000 CAD which is equal to 15,369.25 USD.
My question is, can I raise two GIC deposits?
Like with same Canadian bank or two different Canadian banks.

PS: was told my limit is 10k usd for a month
Pls urgent reply needed.
Thanks in advance

Please I would like to have your contact to know how you went about the GIC. I reached out to some Canadian banks and they kept telling me that I needed to be in Canada to get GIC.

Procedure to open GIC in Canada

First you go to there website https://pay.cibc.com/ISBO/payment/#/ and create a profile.
1. You are applying for student GIC program

2. Minimum amount is $10000, you can do upto $20000 but bear in mind that this money will only be available on tranches for a period of 8 months or so.

3. Select resident country

4. Do not check the I'd like to pay in canadian dollars box

5.. you will see an amount in USD click on it and continue, that amount will be held for 20 minutes while u fill the form

6. After filling the form you will be contacted by the bank in 1-2 business days with an account number to pay into

7.. proceed to the bank and make the payment from a USD account

NOTE: payment can be only made once before you arrive to Canada. And PAYMENT MUST BE MADE FROM THE SAME NAME ACCOUNT OTHERWISE THEY WILL RETURN YOUR MONEY

Make sure you have the funds that will cover the tuition fee for 4 years plus at least 20k upkeep and 6k miscellaneous

I had funds for 4yrs tuition alone 44m and was rejected

I am sure that wasn't why you were rejected. For 4 years course, depends on how you package your sponsor and show he has the abilities to pay subsequent tuition with all necessary supporting docs.

Omoo this will amount to over 65m. I don't have upto that so I'll need to find someone to complete it for me. Hope that would work?
