Like a girlfriend saying it is a duty to pamper her. Then she got angry when I refused to let her interrupt a business meeting. If you bought a gift for your sister, she would ask for her own too. Having a platonic relationship (as it is called) among heterosexuals is unrealistic in our environment. Even in western cultures such rels cross the line sometimes esp when one partner is in need of emotional support. To start with, u cannot convince any one that u both dont have sth going on, no matter how much u deny it. For this reason u (she as well) are already paying a price for sth u have not even bargained for. This 'rel' will cause pain in unintended places. Kinda agree with ya poster. Some girls could be so emotionally shallow that when you do a little thing for them, they look at a bigger picture:is he trynna hump me? Date me? etc throwing up so much emotional tantrum they sound worse than a baby who just had a candy snatched.
