In fact, dude is one of the most educated politicians from the north and Nigeria needs educated leaders of northern extraction to compel their people to go to school, but El-Rufai's extremist islamic views are quite disturbing.

The only reason why Northerners supported Tinubu is mostly out of pity, not because they saw his competency.

People saw that the people he helped to power, including Osinbajo and Buhari, were all trying to betray him and they decided to help him and here he is trying to betray those who made it possible for his plea to be heard in the North.

Osinbajo fell flat in the north because he was seen as a betrayer having declared after his political benefactor had declared his intentions to run for presidency.

During Jonathan's regime, we knew how he was been harassed by DSS and the only man that stood by him during those periods is Rotimi Ameachi. I was arguing with someone before the APC's presidential primary on this forum that El-Rufai would never support anyone outside Rotimi but I was caught aback when he started canvassing for Tinubu. Everyone that stood with him during his trying times had been thrashed by him.
