How many people dey live for South East. This is the least populated region in Nigeria. The whole of south east is slightly bigger than Oyo state. So we can say the stat for the whole South East compares to Oyo state.

Good evening, i won't be specific but the number of students who wrote WAEC in the South East over the years will give a clue to your question. WAEC

Factors responsible for North's unhealthy number of out of school children are:
1: Population
2: Mentality

Na Osun and Oyo States cause the south west figure to rise. Glad to note they now go to school. It will be very difficult to see pupils roam the streets during school hours in ekiti and ondo states. If at all you see a child begging alms in those 2 states, they must be non-indigenes
It's just d two states, Ondo and ekiti are totally different from d rest. Both mentally and otherwise,
I can easily sit and flow with an Ondo or ekiti citizen than d rest, they rest are just too dumb and myopic

This is an embarrassing number for SE. We must reduce this number to zero. Every child must go to school!
You have spoken well but it's a pity the rogues we have as leaders won't do anything to reduce the figure, but make it increase instead. With the new outrageous school fees our schools are demanding lately, more children will still drop out of school. That's the fact ☹️☹️

I am surprised that the NW zone has the highest number of out of school children, I thought that dubious distinction would have been given to the NE because of years of banditry attacks and large scale displacement of the people of that zone.

The north really has to pull up their bootstraps and try much more to get their children back to school as that remains their main hope of stopping banditry and impoverishment of its people.

Without being told, yes

Says so much about the quality of education you received.

Go and read the millennium development Goals and see that SE topped the charts in education, immunization, access to contraception, child development, etc. And these were based on population ratio like per 100 000.
I didn't say argue o, just go and read the document .
Then come back

North is a big burden to other regions, they don’t even have enough resources to cater for themselves still yet a single person can have 30 children. And they enjoy Nigeria resources pass other regions. What a bad country!

Money spent every blessed day in the old Northern region is at least 150 billion naira. How much of that did Nigeria give to them?.

It is just like saying the whole Niger state or Kogi state is more than SW in size and it would be more or less true but is Kogi richer than even only Osun state?. Kwara is even larger than Osun but not as rich as Osun. Oyo might be three times the size of Osun but on a per Capita basis Osun will be richer. However anywhere under proper management will be rich. If you have enough arable land you have no problem and if you don't you can import food but SE can easily contain around four Osun state and that is big. Oyo has an extensive savannah in the Northern part. As small as Ijesa land is, you find thousands of Benue, Cross river, Hausas and Kogi also Urhobos farming in the place. Is their place not big enough?.

This is even with the sit-@-home wahala though not an acceptable trend. Despite all the self-created and inflicted problems of the Nigerian state against the SE region( including the over exaggerated insecurity situation), the region is still responsible for the most nerve-wrecking outstanding academic feats ever broken by any ethnic group in this nation.

This is a region whose entire land was blown to smithereens in a self hate genocidal war. Yet the protegees of their forefathers rose from the ashes to dominate the Nigerian education, commerce, transportation, health, occupying high politico-military positions in the US, UK, Canada and other nations across the world.

And what has happened to the contraption they foisted on us with a fraudulent constitution? This is 63 yesrs of failed Nationhood with no light under the tunnel or in sight. The fraudulent 2023 election really exposed the Nigerian state hatred for alaigbo. Now the rest of history.

It is a monumental blessing being a SE. It is a blessing being from alaigbo. Ala nkea Chineke goziri agozi. Ebe ndi ma Ihe. Chineke ga na zaputa ummuneya. Abeg umunnem, toonu Chineke anyi. Proudly onye dot. Udo di. Peace!

South easterners with their chest beating nonsense, you are getting proud and making noise for having the least out of school children, the list is merely base on regional out of school and not by tribe, Lagos population alone is higher than the entire South East, before you beat ur chest, first asked urself how person's are in south east, some times those who constitutes out of school children in south west or south south or maybe northern regional can be proportionally people from the south East...

With this type of your nonsensically nonsense English, ebi like say you be one of those school drops out Agbero?

Why the insult? Does it mean the moral decay in ur upbringing has gotten to the point you freely stand before ur father and mother to insult them however you like?...this is the very reason ur region keep failing in having healthy relationships with other regions of Nigeria, am sure you came from a broken home or a child from a frustrated street woman... Just look @ the ratio or improper fraction of the levels of child illiteracy between the 2 regions and know where the problem & bane of Nigeria's development is coming from. A country where illiterates are politically forced on a nation in connivance with some eternally cursed southern stooges

What about the ration of southerners on death row in Asian countries awaiting their execution dates after being convicted of drug pushing.
