Benson Upah, Head of Information and Public Affairs, NLC Except President Bola Tinubu summons the requisite political will and empathy for the people nothing will change with the strike action. Organised labour has never been this patient, we have been talking for months with no action from the Federal government SOURCE: AriseTV 26 Likes 7 Shares

The worst human being you don’t wanna be right now is Tinubu Every angle of his life is falling apart I know where ever he is right now he’s peeing on his pants because of his long protected Chicago records that will be released tomorrow 12noon NLC make una pity am Abeg this shame is too much This is why it’s always good to keep your dealings and doings transparent and following due process Tinubu would have just left politics after 1999 and enjoy his loots in peace knowing he’s not an upright person See shame 67 Likes 2 Shares |

Going on strike is one thing; its impact is another. When we had it good and fairly stable, we accused the president of the day of being clueless. Now, it's all gone bad - almost rotten, and we've run out of adjectives to describe the current president. BTW, what magic made gas cheap, but for a few weeks? Was that the government magic Fela sang about? 5 Likes |

Go ahead please. Personally, I want the strike to hold, I equally want the government to call their bluffs. When hunger set in, they will be the one pleading to resume work. The good news is that not all of them have been paid their salaries. Please don't say Nigeria will lose a lot of billions, when government had all the billions with them, of what importance is it to the common man? My point is, NLC and TUC are too greedy just like our politicians. Of what use is the increment of their salaries to the majority who are neither a staff of the government nor their members? The masses will only suffer from inflation as a result of the increment of their salaries. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Hehehehe If you think NLC is fighting for you, you are a joker. They are fighting for their pockets. That ipobic NLC president is just fighting for his pocket as Obi don lose abi no be Ipob again? An average Ipob can sell his father because of money . FG should just give them 200m, the ipobic NLC president will pocket 100m then the remaining 100m will be shared among the national excos each will get like 20m and those regional excos without any power will get nothing and will have to still succumb to their superiors. Lobatan, strike is over 8 Likes 2 Shares |

🔥💥🔥💥 What is clear about APC is that they just like power but do not know how to govern and bring dividends to the governed. They have no ideas on how to create a dynamic socioeconomic atmosphere apart from acting as slave masters and taxing anything taxable to death & oblivion..⚠️❎❌❎ Most of APCs achievement in Lagos is to tax and tax, chop most of the funds raised and use the rest for some big looking projects that doesn't really add much to the common man. The excessive taxes in Lagos have driven many companies and industries out of Nigeria to other West African countries, thereby increasing unemployment. Same way of taxing is now being operated on the national level & just 4 months into Tinubu's tenure, everybody eyes 👁️don dey commot blood. But make una no worry, na only 44 months remain for him tenure, that is for those of us wey go still dey alive by then😐😐😐😐 4 Likes |

The NLC is a well-known toothless bulldog. Nothing pains me as much as the statement stock your homes with food. How much food can a married man with three children stock? And to think that some civil servants have not even been paid. I'm not a fan of the FG, but the NLC is no saint either. Take a walk into any government secretariat and see what civil servants are doing. I put it to the NLC that the civil service is an extremely unproductive wing of the government's labor force. Shutting down the economy can be compared to beating a child and asking him/her not to cry. The pains will be felt by the masses, and not the government. If they should go on strike, then let them shut down government establishments and leave the private sector alone. 5 Likes 3 Shares |
