This is not the first time companies will close down because of the economy in Nigeria. Companies also closed down under Obasanjo.

Tinubu will eventually pull Nigeria out of this mess

We have given so much power to politicians and we don't yet know how to hold our leaders accountable. This same govt that has performed so woefully will still have the guts, courage, temerity to ask us to re-elect them in a couple of months from now because they know we are a docile people with so many "mumu button" at their disposal.

Nigeria is not working, because the states of the federation created by the military for politics, tribalism & What have you, is not working, the states add no value, yet the the majority peasant citizens as represented also on this forum, focus more on the President & blame everything on the office, instead of their individual states of the federation, what the great Fela tagged colonial turned military mentality.

The citizens are yet to understand the democrazy they practice.

So unfortunate that majority of people don't understand democracy or governance at all. An average Nigerian have little or no business with FG but states and particularly local governments.

These corrupt state governors are now using their ignorance to milk the system dry.

When polygamy is part of some people's religion.
When Sanusi wanted to introduce a law which would ban poor men from having more than one wife, they got rid of him.

The wealth of nation is rooted in the ability of production and not consumption.
Naira today is 1,210 Naira to US Dollar, Today 1,000,000 Naira is about 820 US Dollar.

Religious centres have not shut down. Seems they are fast multiplying as a result.

Religion is the OPIUM (Pain-Killer) of the people...!

As pain increases, the sellers of 'painkillers' will definitely thrive and multiply.

It's a simple natural law of demand and supply.

And the idiotic you don't understand the meaning of "cucurent list" in our constitution?

What solidify the economy of a country if not her power to generate revenue for development and production, in which these governors contribute nothing to achieve. If you can't ask your governor what he has been doing with billions of monthly allocation but keep blaming federal government, then I am sorry, you are one of these ignorant people I was talking about.
