No one needs a seer to understand what Nigerians are presently going through. The situation is affecting every section of the country, irrespective of tribe, religion and ethnicity. And if you're expecting BAT's administration to fix things you will be disappointed. PBAT may want to ameliorate the situation, but no meaningful change will be observed. I repeat no meaningful change will be obversed. This is not because l hate PBAT or because I'm a pessimist, it's simply because I understand his ideas and philosophies.

BAT is an oligarch, an elitist in idea; that's why he's been creating strong men over the years. What Nigerians need are strong institutions and people like BAT don't create strong institutions. Strong institutions will obviously undermine their influence and weaken their hold on the people. Oligarchy or elitism is the system of government the Hausa-Fulanis practice, and interestingly, this is what most Islamic countries practice. This is one of the reasons why BAT enjoyed the support of the likes of Elrufai, Ganduje, etc. They have similar mindsets, that is, government of the wealthy and powerful few controlling the populace. Yorubas who are open minded will concur to this observation. Unfortunately, this elitism will continue unless the Igbo and South-southerners form a formidable alliance through the following:

1. MARRIAGE: Trust between different ethnic groups are usually established through marriages, as no one will deliberately want to harm his/her in-laws. This is exactly what the Hausa-Fulanis and the Yorubas do. In this regard, the young men of the Igbo extraction must intentionally prevail on their elders and kinsmen to drastically reduce the cost of marrying an Igbo bride so as encourage suitors from Ijaws, Urhobos, Benins and other ethnic groups that make up the south-south region to seek the hand of the Igbo maidens in marriage. This will go a long way in fostering cohesion between the southeast and the south-south.

2.ABOLISH THE NAME, BIAFRA: If the unity of the southeasterns and South-southerners is to be consolidated the "Biafra" tag must be discarded, especially, with regards to the violence taking place in the southeast region. No genuine South-southerners want to be freed from the hegemony of the Yoruba/Hausa-Fulanis only to be shackled by another ethnic jingoist. This is why most people from the south-south are usually on the fence when the Igbos are agitating for freedom and inclusiveness. To this end, an acronym that incorporates the initials of every ethnic group that makes up the two regions must be adopted as the name of the geographical entity. This is so important, as the name BIAFRA is one of the propaganda tool with which the core northerners and the Yorubas always use in driving wedge in between Igbos and the South-southerners. This was what they used against Peter Obi in the middle belt, but failed to achieve the south-south region.

3. SIGNED MOU: There must be a well documented and signed agreement with regards to power and resource allocation. This document must ensure egalitarianism and total federalism. Criminals must be treated as criminals irrespective of tribe and religion. If this can be achieved, the subregions will be competing with the UAE in the next ten years.

4. Hmmm..

The bolded is what we the sane minds have seen and know. Unfortunately, the gullibles thought it's all about ethnicity and religion.

Tinubu don't have what it takes to bring a positive change in Nigeria this is a very simple fact.
