You have a valid point. But how do you prevent ineligible candidates from contesting?
.File it as a pre election case and it would concluded before the winner takes oath of office.

electronic voting is not going to stop multiple court cases after elections. What we need is an amendment to the electoral act to forbid contesting of eligibility of candidates after elections. More than 80% of cases in court is not about the conduct or outcome of the elections.

PDP in Plateau didn't comply with the ruling of the court. They behaved like APC in Rivers and Zamfara, that's why they are suffering the consequences of their stupidity.

From my observation of the entire elections conducted by INEC in 2023...99.9% of the results are all being determined by the courts nation wide. So the question is ....what kind of elections did these guys conducted with over 300 billion naira spent. Which body is responsible for sanctioning INEC for conducting rubbish as elections. Na like this we go dey dey?

If not for your comprehension problem, it would have been clear to you that most issues in court are pre-election matters. Candidates nomination process, Ward Congresses, State Congress issues, internal party wranglings. The Labour party & the PDP didn't do house cleaning, hence the reason for losing in court.

In 2019, the same thing happened to APC Rivers & Zamfara. So, how does this translate to INEC not doing her job? Make una dey reason sometimes before una type for public forum.

This is true but when you look at Abia state especially the city of Aba, you’ll be exhilarated that LP contested the elections. Alex Otti emerged through LP

Looks like we should just forget about election votes & use court to determine the winners. smiley

But seriously, the way forward is for INEC to perfect e-Voting and Realtime Transmission of Results.

As well as conclude all election cases before swearing in.

That's not the solution

It is ingrained in the typical Nigerian politics to dispute the outcome of any election.

If INEC and Nigeria intelligence agencies are serious, verification of candidates and their certificates should be done and concluded before listing someone as certified candidate of a party for an election.

Obi worked for Tinubu indirectly and Atiku may never forgive him. The Last election was the perfect opportunity for PDP if they had their house in order.

Obi played the spoiler for them big time.
Imagine if Obi, Atiku and wike were United in the last elections, it would have been a PDP presidency now.

I was expecting you to display your congenital stvpidity and you didn't fail to disappoint. You must be low on cerebral fuel to have assumed that my statement implied that INEC was perfect. As a matter of fact, no electoral body has ever claimed perfection in any election conduct. Even the so-called America had lots of issues with respect to their last election in which Donald Trump lost. Of course I don't expect a person like you who reasons from the an*s to know that.

You're just a rabble-rouser who is bereft of any iota of common sense. The matter under discourse has nothing to do with INEC, but typical of someone with a leaky brain, you somehow brought them in. Most of you armchair critics are like bungalow; you have nothing upstairs. And for the record, I can bet my last kobo that you've never managed an organization of 10 people self. You wey fit be one jobless soul wey still dey chop for him mama house. cheesy cheesy
