Policeman Killed, Mornarch’s Wife, 14 Others Abducted In Zamfara by Islie: 7:47am On Nov 21, 2023
A mobile policeman attached to the Maru Police Division has been killed in an attack on the Ruwandoruwa community of Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State by armed bandits.

The bandits also abducted 15 persons, including the wife of a monarch in the community.

According to reports, the assault happened early around 12:30 am on Monday.

The assailants unleashed gunfire indiscriminately after they stormed the community, killing the mobile policeman, who was fatally shot in front of the district head’s residence while attempting to defend the house.

After a failed attempt to kidnap the district head, who was nowhere to be found, his wife was abducted.

The bandits were yet to contact the community for ransom regarding the abducted persons.

Meanwhile, the Zamfara State Police Command was yet to comment on the incident as at press time.

I don't know why the government are still far behind in bringing the perpetrator of all these act to book, it has really over become rempant to the extent that, even people have started taking it as a norm and daily job to cash out..

This is why rehabilitating criminals and setting them free to the society is bad, we have some politicians who have been romancing with them and saying they are their son, you sons who almost wiped out your entire community?

The immediate ex governor visited the state yesterday with armoured tanks for his own safety, same person that is currently the state minister of defense.
