Vows, Tinubu's presidency can't stop struggle for Yoruba nation -

Advices military to eliminate terrorists, and stop chasing shadows..

Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho, has described as misleading the categorisation of the agitation for the Yoruba Nation as part of the threats to Nigeria’s peace.

He was reacting to a remark credited to the Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj Gen Edward Buba, who listed the Yoruba self-determination movement as a threat to the peace in the South-West zone.

The PUNCH reports that Buba, while addressing defence correspondents in Abuja on Friday on the activities of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, claimed that security threats in various geopolitical zones differ, pointing out that the major threat in the South-West remained the Yoruba Nation agitators.

But Igboho, in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Oyo State, said the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu should disregard such security report, which he described as blackmail.

we take exception to the wrong and baseless position of the Director of Defence Media Operations, Buba, for identifying the Yoruba Nation agitators as a major threat to the peace in the South-West.

“This is not only far from the truth but also a flimsy excuse, which showcased the failure of the military to tackle the menace of insecurity, which threatened the peace in Nigeria, most especially during the immediate past regime of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Apart from the ignoble and vicious attacks on some states in the North, most especially in the North-East, by the Boko Haram terrorists, fulani bandits were controlling some local governments in some parts of the North during Buhari’s administration, collecting levies and other forms of revenues unhindered. The military could not do anything tangible to stop this act of threat against the territorial integrity of the nation.”

He alleged that rather than eliminate terrorists, the military “is chasing shadows and wrongfully accusing Yoruba Nation movement of threat to peace in the South-West.”

“This is just a figment of their own imagination, which should be ignored by discerning Nigerians and other relevant stakeholders,” he said.

Waiting to read what yorubas will tell Igboho.

People that hate freedom fighters and supports injustices especially against others.

I remember how they were here cheering and hailing Nigeria soldiers when they were killing innocent youths in East for just protesting peacefully with just play cards.
None of them had catapult.

Here they were shouting, kill them all,use them as target practice, More bullets in your guns, put them again inside portoporto, etc.
Attaching pictures of innocent youths killed and those forced to swim in mud water.

I don't know what happened to those pictures and why they no longer use it to mock Igbos.

When you see them lamenting about killing in East now,you will think they love Easterners.

I never see people like that before.

Their yoruba mods will remove this when they see it because they hate truth.

Everyone, I mean, every sensible person knows that Nigerian leaders have nothing to offer; in fact, their gains are in d evils dt befall d land. That's their reason for always looking elsewhere while d real issues stare directly at them.

Well, we'll all see, soon!

Clueless Tinubu Government will not take him serious though until the agitators becomes a threat to his reign.
Sunday Igboho should ensure there's no election in SW again until referendum is done.

It will never be well with Buhari and all that were in leadership position under him,he pampered and watched his evil Fulani brothers become specialist in slaughtering and killing people in the north with or without provocation while he swiftly tackles anyform of agitation arising from the east to south and west as if he was doing favor to the back dated individuals in the north that carry religion on the head instead of their hearts..... only in the north will you find people still chanting say baba oblivious that he is the course of their infemity because they just like their lame leaders are also not aware, senators in the north stay as long as the want in their positions with cheers from their foolish poverty deformed subject.......if you see the hungry looking people that goes around killing innocent people, you will wander what were they paid to accept such jobs

ALL non-state actors are threats to peace of the country. The constitution does not recognize Yoruba nation, Biafra, Arewa or Niger delta republic, the only entity it recognizes is Nigeria and the security agencies empowered by law, any individual or a group of individuals who aprobates to itself the power of security forces, does so at his own peril.

But marauding Fulani terrorists are not threat

One Nigeria indeed. If not for sentiment and political affiliations, Yoruba people needs something like ESN, the yeye amotekun they set up don fold up. Fulani herdsmen still hold sway in the south, the Fulani warlord wakilu they arrested instead of sending him to the great beyond has escaped from police and those who arrested them were even summoned to Abuja 😂😂😂
