Women need to be extra careful when occupying political position because they tend to be so naive and vulnerable, not necessarily corrupt. Most of them lack the necessary public service exposure and deftness.

Men are far more dangerous and corrupt but tend to cover their tracks better, and they study their environment so well and acclimatize with the system more quickly.

God help Beta Edu.

Jolly Nyame is a free man today.

He has also become a motivational speaker.

He said "I learnt a lot of lessons in the prison". With this he is poised to become a consultant in giving hopes to prison inmates and would be inmates.

Is God not wonderful?

grin Even if she's found guilty, nothing will be done as far as Nigeria is concern. The best they will do is to sentence her to 14 years imprisonment in a conducive VIP prison room, then go throw the backdoor to grant her presidential pardon in a year or 2.

Until the youths start dishing out jungle justice as they do to hungry poor man that steals garri in the market, Nigeria will remain the same.

Politicians will never persecute their own because they know they are all guilty of same crime.

A thorough investigation should be carried out to ascertain if she had other motives for the funds apart from what it was intended for,She can be excused for not knowing the civil service rules if the investigation proves she didn't have ulterior motive otherwise let her face the music including her predecessor in office.

You're somehow right. So it happened to Dr Adenike Grange whose naivety did her in. I believe Dr Betta Edu meant well. She probably fell into a trap due to her inexperience and naivety. Hope it ends well for her.

The elders loot the common patrimony and do not give the youths opportunity to serve.

The same youths with the likes of this lady, get into positions, blatantly loot and try to justify it.

And her adviser was saying it is legal to pay such huge government money into private account. With that kind of adviser, no wonder she is in this mess.

Most of this big men and women collect money for estacode running into millions of Naira but they will never step foot in the surpose countries. That one na free money for the ogas.
