I don't know if the north are ready to fight insecurity cos of the way they treat these guys.

A terrorist is always a terrorist just like a hoe is always a hoe. No repentance!
How do you fight yourself? They are terrorists and they sponsor terrorists at state level.

They swore with what?

You mean the blood thirsty terrorists who killed the innocent and ravaged cities and farmlands in the name of the Holy Koran, swore by the same book not to go back to insurgency that will enable them enact Islamic caliphate?

Can someone make this to make sense to me?

See how they encourage criminality. You can now understand why kidnapping and banditry is on the increase. And then we begin to waste money buying helecopter to pursue them

And they are the ones affected most. 80-90% of the killings happen in their region.

All the soldiers who lost their lives fighting this menace, the innocent in their thousands who were brutally sent to their graves by this people only for the government to pardon them and release them back into the society on the basis of an oath that has no legal or punitive substance. What a nation.

Isn't terrorism a federal crime? How does the governor have the power to release federal criminals?

Why not release all of them? These are people that have turned many women to widows and many children to orphan. They are supposed to have been sent to God for judgment.

There you have it! When folks like me who understand your Nigeria more than the majority of you tell you that, your government is the sponsor of terrorism, you come on this platform and others to defend the indefensible. If you have any modicum of sense, tell me why would your government release over 500 Fulani terrorists back into the communities that they had been terrorizing. And you do not see anything wrong with that? The problem is that Nigerians are very dishonest people. They lie and tell themselves that what's BAD is GOOD and vice versa. But the beauty of it all is that despite all their grandiose delusion about the country, the citizens are seeing and feeling the effects of their dishonesty.

Because they swore?

It's not just laughable alone.
Terrorism sympathizers in sympathy with Boko Haram's objective for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system are grooming their forces. They control Nigeria's government.
They send police and the army to the east to arrest and detain easterners for asking for a new country from Nigeria. What a country, Nigeria

The Borno State government said, on Wednesday, that the 160,000 repentant Boko Haram insurgents can’t return to killings because they swore to an oath with the Quran.

Really? I thought they use to kill in the name of Allah and Quran.

I'm not surprised. Since the government is also using them, why won't they used repentance an excuse and release them. What a devastated country!
